Quentin's theme might have been a hit in some locales, but it was never made it to the jukebox at the Blue Whale! haha

This actor Jerry Lacey was very good in dark shadows with his characters in a very handsome man too...😊

I found him hilarious as Trask, when he would raise his eyes to the Heavens, even though his character was evil, he was also very funny. I also loved him as Bogart in “Play It Again, Sam.”

The best actor of the series. Even when she goofed lines due to getting her scenes just hours before filming, she maintained absolute professionalism. Her ability to differentiate Alexis/Angelique is a testament to her talent.

Sy did the original sets for The Bold and the Beautiful. If you notice, the Forrester mansion set (still in use today in 2024) is pretty much the same floor plan as the Collinwood mansion set. I interned on The Bold and the Beautiful in the early 90s, and Sy was fantastic to me, and enjoyed that I took an interest in the production design of the series and his work, which back then was absolutely stellar (much better than it's been since he passed away). He was a true master at what he did, even with a budget that didn't always rise to the task. He was also very kind and an absolute gentleman. I feel fortunate to have met him.

The Reverend Rocks ! I watched Dark Shadows from the late 1960's - the early 1970's. Like a lot of kids I was so drawn to this show it was the best 1/2 hour a kid ever had after school at 04:00 PM. It's been over 50 years since I've seen an episode. I don't remember much other than the caricatures. I've been tuning into episodes and documentaries here on KZbin and I never realized how great Dark Shadows really was. You can only go back once, This Is Without A Doubt The Best Second Time Around ! 🦇🌹

I would have liked to know his thoughts on that 2004 unaired pilot for the wb, I saw it and I personally disliked it but it was still I guess better than the tim burton movie.

A woman named Betsy Durkin played Victoria in a few episodes before the character was written out of the show.I like the idea of Vicky being possessed.Rev.Trask could have been brought from the 18th century to do the exorcism. The idea of her being Mrs. Barnabas Collins as a benevolent vampire would have been a good storyline.Maybe bite David to be in her power.

She did resemble Joan Bennett.I hated to see her leave.I named my aunt's female kitten Vicky after the character Alexandra Moltke played. The possession would have been a good storyline. They could gone back to the 18th century and fetched Rev. Trask to exorcise it out of her.

He replaced a rather mediocre actor in the role.Karlen was a vast improvement. He was outstanding in all roles in Dark Shadows.I think he would've been good as Han Solo in the Star Wars movies.I also think Jerry Lacy or David Selby would have been good in that role.

I think he would have very good in the role of Rev.Trask if Jery Lacy had not played the role.I also think either one of them would have been good as Han Solo in in the Star Wars movies.John Karlen also would have been good in that role

I think if Jonathan Friday had not played Barnabas,Jerry Lacy would have been good in the role. After Dark Shadows,Jerry Lacy played a detective in As the World Turns.I would also have considered Jerry Lacy would have been a good Han Solo in the Star Wars movies. Two other Dark Shadows alumni who I would have considered for the role of Han Solo are David Selny and John Karlen.
