sir actually you are right because in this films industry the celebs can b charge like 7 to 9 crore but the rest of the crew member like cinematographer and specially the Vfx field artist and compositer can b pay very low package that's really unfair to this growing industry but the factvis that if we can take a tracking or match moving or plate clean or color grading or green/ blue screen keying then how could they finalised there high budget blockbuster.?? but rather this they should pay one fourth of the average businesses of film or movies that's really unfair to whole of us sir .,I'm from Barrackpore Kolkata and I'm doing AAip Vfx from Arena animation Barrackpore Kolkata!!!

Hey Sid, what ever you said is absolutely right. We need an unionisation in our sector, like Telecom people who has to work 24h still get less paid. From wat I know if we involve political parties to it. We can achieve this union like Telecom union we have in Kerala. And one more thing I specifically want everyone to know is never ever joint stereo conversation as a fresher. That the worst mistake we do. In abroad and as well as in India we have a trend to not take artist with exp in stereo for vfx. It isn't even considered as experience and not many companies are there to do this work.

the facts are right!! but if you people want to grind more and earn more think about your upgradation !! agar roto mai hi rahoge to kam hi khaoge mehnat jaro upgrade karo and contacts badhake khud freelance bahr se karo !! Agar production din raat shoot kr te hai iska matlab hunlog ko bhi yehi soch ke animation ki duniya mai kadam rakhna hoga bhaiyo!! sb log zero se hi start krte hai ! agar effecient rahoge toh aap bhi bohot kamaoge! theres no kind of dark side ! every art/insustry / artist has to struggle so if you really wanna jump in then only do these or else go somewhere else!! study good things like what your parents want engineering or doctor !! our this field is for creativity and interest only ! if you wanna get paid more there has something special about you that you earn 2 lakhs in 2 years also depending on how ypu people understand the industry

PRABHAT EDITING it would better u be off for it's stereo department, if u are a fresher. once u be in stereo department u won't get jobs in vfx at all. With my experience working there the company is quite good but they majorly do stereo conversation which is good only if u have prior experience in vfx otherwise u won't be able to jump any other companies, plus there are like very less companies for stereo conversation.
