Thats why I use the ring of life protection. If you die just back to blacksmith and repair for 3,000 souls. You save effigies and don't lose your souls.

well i don't think you need to perform any hard jump to complete this game so i think this is just another good thing about this game which is if something is just an additional challange it is supposed to be hard in its own way. what's fun about everything being easy...

@@thatguy5233 You're right, it didn't wind up being too bad. I changed the jump control to circle and I got the hang of it. Actually finished platinum trophy. It was frustrating at first though, being my first Souls game.

Stupid character often rolls in a direction I didn't intend, can't run any direction but straight, gotta equip next to nothing just to fast roll, etc. I definitely should've played DS1 before 3 cuz that slightly ruins the experience.

IN SOTFS Zweihander is actually up by the pharros contraption not on the bottom where you see him jump across, that jump was removed and they put the chest up top, hope this helps

I'm a pryo kinght/warrior main weapons are swords/greatswords off hand either pryo ability or sword maby a shield if necessary and armor heavy to medium if damage reduction is good enough

Whoever said the Smelter Demon was easy? That accursed ten-foot faceless oaf was spewing fire. Though there is a way not to get overly burned, that thing is a tough nut to crack. Activating the Pharros lock on the platform where you see the only archer is a great help. Also, a Dark-infused weapon does wonders

I defeated the smelter demon with 2 other people i found. By the way when you defeat the smelter demon, go to the armor guy in majula and he will sell the smelter demon set. Just in case anyone didn't know.

One thing I havent seen anyone mention is if you go back to the Smelter Demon boss room The Pursuer will spawn in and he drops a Ring of Blades +1. Unsure if you have to kill the Old Iron king first or he just spawns upon resting at the bonfire, but Im guessing its the latter option.

If you put on smelter demon armor(full set), use flash sweat, use a flame quartz ring, and roll around in that pool you opened with a pharros lock stone; you can get no fire damage at all. No joke, I tried it myself

If you talk to the merchant at the beginning of irons keep a couple of times, he will give you the gold covetous serpent ring +1, which suddenly makes getting the covetous gold ring on that death trap, not so important 😅😂

In order to get the chaos firestorm, it helps to pull the lever to lower the central platform, climb the ladder that gives you access to, and roll through the large vases up there. They're full of water which gives you fire resistance.

you should roll into the pots of water that are up the stairs by the secret, and then jump down to get the item. that way you are covered in water and don't take as much damage. :)

You can get close enough in a certain spot right next to the bull spitting fire to grab the item from the corpse without having to use any spells or burrs. I don't know if it's a glitch or what but if you creep slowly towards it you can grab it without getting burned

This game becomes extremely easy with a hex caster that uses bow/crossbow for long distance pulls. You can nuke just about everything, but bosses and invaders , before they even get close. Make sure to use phantoms and soapstone summons as much as possible on boss fights. It'll give you that extra breathing room to spam dark orb.

From belfry sol, you can jump off at the top of that ladder to get back over to the iron keep, without fall gear, it took about half of my life i guess, ive even rolled into the other ladder hole and fell down both and didnt die.

He probable has higher faith level. There are other ways too. Like infuse your miracle chime with lightning boltstone and reinforce your chime to +10. If you have a decent amount of faith you will do about 500 to 600 damage easy. Lightning is beast.

+Cody Long I believe it is the set sold by either the hag or the merchant once they're in Majula. I don't remember which one specifically though. And you may need to spend a certain amount of souls with them to unlock it in their shop. I'm not sure about that either.

Hey Iam stuck at the very end, after killing the main boss. Passing the Bon fire there is a water fountain which u can teleport somewhere else , there a door there that's says " Close " how do I open it !!!

They don't "spawn on your face" they have a set position once you rest at the fire. Just remember where they were
