Dark Souls 2 is not a "Dark Souls" game. It feels more like 3rd person King's Field.

Dark Souls II has some pretty good highs, but it has the lowest lows of all soulsborn games imo. As flawed as it is, I always find myself coming back to it. Its atmosphere is unmatched

people never understand that when we say it's the worst souls game, that doesn't mean it's a bad game, it's 10x better than most other game that was released that year, hell it even won awards, we're just saying that compared to the other souls game it's the least good not that it's an ass game, well ngl for me it's actually better than demon's souls now that game sucks balls....

Honestly, i was confused by what they wanted to do on DS2 ... then i learn Miyazaki didn't involve in this. It start to make sense once you see Elden Ring and the fact Miyazaki brought up the lead director of DS2 for lead world designer. You can see there what was the real intended all along when he explain it was meant to be open world.
