Dark Souls 2: Majula | Ambient Orchestral Cover

I like Majula way better than Firelink Shrine and Roundtable Hold as a hub. It's a place that could be home, with a life of it's own. Something to remind you the undead are still human enough to need some stability. There's a feeling of permanency to it, as oppose to Firelink Shrine which always felt to me like a place to stay only for the moment.
I guess that's one thing DS2 fleshed out more than other entries in the series. The humanity of those touched by the curse, rather than grandiose legends of heroes and gods past.
