Brightstone sounded like a cool place. It's the only place in a Dark Souls game I had to pull out a map (before an eventual cleanup run done maybe 4-5 areas later). And I STILL HAD TO MAKE MY OWN MAP. So confusing with all the one way drops, and so annoying because of the mages that reset when you go back to the top. So it's also the first time I ever equipped a bow. It's kinda like Amana in a way. Also seemed like a cool place, but the nearly invisible dropoffs and mages make it hell. Supposed to be enjoying the atmosphere but I'm glued face to the ground trying to tell where the cliff of death is under the water. Place that definitely needed more time was Aldia's though. That's it?! is all I can think about that place. About 1/4th the size it should be. And with that in mind, I kinda feel the same about Heide's. After Forest of Giants... which was probably their demo level or whatever, Heide's seems small and simplistic.

It is. I will definitely like a remake with better graphics, but at least we want good lighting, making the game -in some areas- darker would make a huge difference, for example: the exploding enemies in Brume Tower, when they explode, the explosion almost doesn't light the place, another thing is that some bosses are supposed to shake the ground when they hit it, like Fume Knight, he is huge, and carries a giant sword, however, when he hits the ground, nothing happens, unlike Gascoigne from Bloodborne who could shake entire Yharnam by a strike of his axe, although he is way smaller than Fume Knight.

Dark souls 2 was supposed to be the biggest baddest souls game. Rushed development and change of directors was its undoing.

If ds2 had better graphics I assure you that it could have been the best fromsoft game to date. So much potential, it’s a shame that it look a little bit off Oh and of course it deserve a remake. No joke. Seriously.

I mean good graphics don't hurt but ds2 was lacking in many more ways than graphics

@@ethanabramov6345 oh yeah yeah, you are totally right, I agree with you! I should’ve better say better graphics and technic in general, but what I really mean is that ds2 have such a good universe and a lot of characters and all. With a better way to play it it should have please more than 50% of the community
