Yeah, DS3 in it's present form favors hosts far too much. They have a billion ways to stack the odds in their favor, and if the hosts are even somewhat competent, these invasions become a messy slog. I still love this game, but I hate how contact with so many toxic hosts (or players in general) is progressively making me a little toxic by association. That's why lately I have taken a step back and tried "friendly" invasions. The sheer toxicity of the PVP environment makes fun take a backseat to sweaty competition. There is no way an hour long slogfest is "fun".

If the host lives and doesn't run out of estus it's not cheating, it's a game mechanic, creating estus with a glitch is cheating and is BS. I don't care if jeenine is good, he had to cheat to win. Actually nah f--k that guy , what to go jeenine

@@tyho2284 Bolds words you have there. I can appreciate where you were initially coming from, though. The state of this game is currently so toxic and sweaty that I dare you to find honorable hosts that won't instantly swarm and blender you (sometimes with nondownscaled phantoms). Also, I am beginning to find script cheaters with infinite health and stamina on the PS4. Playing Dark Souls Three now comes with the automatic assumption that a great number of the players you meet nowadays are hacking and/or glitching in some way or another. Being angry at Jeenine for refilling when the host is a turn and burn artist who constantly resummons is quite useless. Moreover, the host is likely using the covenant shield, where if you equip aldrich faithful, you can prevent a third invader from coming in at a time.
