It literally took me up to 50 arrows just for his bitch ass to fall off once. 700 arrows later and 2 hours later I got 150k souls.... he just floats there not able to walk or anything the devs of this game piss me off because I've fell through the earth at least 20 times a playthrough on the very last patch but this damn enemy can walk on air
