You can also use it to great success in PvE. It shortens the distance at which mobs detect you to a fraction of where they normally sense you.

If you use this with the Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring it is also pretty good in pve mobs never hear if you come from behind and always get the backstep and i front the don't see you so easy
