Reasons for remaking the video: ~ That fukking Havel outfit 🤦😤 ~ Missing music from some of the clips (absolutely NO idea why?!) ~ Got smacked around way more than I wanted in a video I was uploading ~ 720p recording..... 🤢🤮 Hoping to get some nice 1080p maybe 60fps if I'm lucky ~ PS4 only lets you edit and render 1hr of video, meaning I had to be picky about bonus clips, and actually had to discard some good content 😤 (roll on my new capture card!!) Just generally not happy with the quality and feel it could be way better.

@@tinatope1485 Sometimes the camera isn't your friend. Take Midir for example. His sheer size makes it awkward with the camera sometimes. In some cases it's a lot better to fight unlocked

Which gave you the most trouble at first? Also; great video man. Another quick question, apart from enemies hitting harder and having more health is there any other noticeable changes? Like in dark souls 2 for example there was new enemy placements and the red enemies. Any of that in this?

Probably Champion Gundyr. But that was only because I wanted to try the fight hitless. I ended up doing it several times, as thanks to bad RNG, I'd get clipped, or mess up a parry. But I ended up accepting the 1 hit I got in the fight. To answer your second question: No, I don't really notice any changes. If you level up well and properly, you'll scale along with bosses & enemies. So your damage output stays relatively good

@@sniffmycheeze Well if I'm honest, I'm still on my first playthrough of DS2. So still a little early to recall make a judgement call. From what I'm seeing though, it's the worst ~in the franchise~. It's not a terrible game by itself. But it's certainly not the best *SoulsBorne* game. And yes, NG+7 is where everything is at it's limit - souls earned, enemy/boss hp etc

@@DavexScott88 I was running a crystal astora great sword with a bunch of spells, was doing little blips of damage cause he has profound magic resistance actually making Aldrich the hardest boss fight for me and the only boss I died to on that run. That VoS would've changed that fight drastically, might have to give this another ago when I decide to pick up my caster again, this video was an interesting watch though, currently going for an 802 build without any assistance, so it'll be lengthy but it'd be cool to do. Great upload my dude.

But I sniped them all with a bow before I went in the bossroom so they wouldn't get in the way during the fight. More enemies drop down from above during the first stage of the fight. You can see some more dropping down at 3:23

Nah not really. By the time you've put this many hours into the game, you've learned all the boss patterns. Sure, you might mess up and get punished, but it's still very easy at max level

My advice is: · Do optional bosses only, and run through the game as fast as you can. Each new playthrough let's you use Yhoel to get 5 free levels. · Get REALLY good at PvP. I find it's much quicker to level up with PvP than it is to try farming the 3 Winged Knights at Grand Archives You'll need a lot of patience, it's no easy feat to hit max level ✌️

@@cleonumber1 You should. It makes no sense to me to give Gael a weakness on 1 platform and not on another. In fairness, it CAN take a while for the poison to build, since Gael is awkward and likes to jump and run around the place. It would make it easier if he stayed in one spot for a few seconds! 😅 Would 100% recommend using the Storyteller Staff weapon art for the poison though, as the poison from the weapon art far outdoes any other poison in the game

I can confirm that he can get poisoned on pc indeed, was fighting him today and decided to try poisoning him out, it took me to land 20-25 poisoned knifes to get him poisoned, and the damage was 10 per tick, which is just ridiculous, considering he has almost 15k hp, wouldn't ever bother with poison again in next runs, at least not with throwables

Speedrun the game, only kill mandatory bosses and ignore all optional ones to get to Yoel as fast as possible to get his 5 free levels per game. It doesn't sound like much, but when you're high level and paying 10 million per level, his free levels really help a lot. Also, a LOT of PvP. But obviously you have to be good at fighting first. Hope this helps ✌️
