Awesome work! I have just found your channel, as I have just received my Dark Souls board game. So I have been looking online for ideas on how to to paint and what colours to use. What holder are you using on your model? I'm interested in getting one for when I start 😊

Gaming Junkies they buddy! Thanks for your comment :D really appreciate it! Indeed, :D I’m making these primarily to help other painters wanting to finish these models :) - as for the holder it’s just an old Perfume bottle I have haha. But it fits very comfortably + it’s flat cap can rotate Nd helps me stick the model on with a putty rubber :)

Hey man this looks amazing! I've been stuck on this model for a while in what colour to use, any tips on for the gargoyles flesh? :P

Thank you buddy!! - for his flesh i used, Rakarth Flesh, Cadian Fleshtone, Bugmans Glow and probably also some WraithBone. But I tend to mix all of these up until I find a colour thats perfect for me. Then work I in layers and wet blend as much as possible to get a smooth gradient. Starting dark and work towards highlights once everything is dry. Then lastly I apply a coat of Agra EarthShade to make all the nooks and crannies stand out.

@@SilenceInSpace Thank you for the amazing advice! I just finished my bell Gargoyle :) I have only taking up painting in the past few months and haven't gotten too great with wet blending yet so I opted to do my transitions with some careful dry-brushing, But thank you so much for the the advice on colours I would still be stuck otherwise!

Asana hey thank you so much!! - it’s a mix of a lot of colours to be honest, I never just use a colour straight outta pot. But if I recall well I’m mixing Waaagh Flesh, Caldeor Sky, Ceramite White. Mixing these at different ratios should give you what you’re looking for :)
