There are tons of places you can get humanity easily. No reason to lose a character over it.

You can farm humanity in the Depths. Which is great because rats can only poison you, their bites are mostly blockable, and they only take a hit or 2 to kill.

Also, you shouldn't use a humanity everytime you respawn. You should only use humanity if you want to kindle a bonfire or play co-op.

Id' just farm the skeleton babies by nito. They only drop humanity and the item would sometimes disappear in the water. You could easily do it non-stop and get over 40 humanities an hour, I remember it wasn't so profitable in the souls region. In my ng+++ game I had 99 humanities in my bonfire, and in my pockets. It was glorious. I also did the same method for my sl1 character for chaos equipment.

The game stops getting harder at NG+7 and you have to be skilled in order to get there anyway. It's not impossible to have a crap ton of souls, especially since you can get to SL120 in NG+1. dude, you passed the Crimson Set! You could have gone back after the bone fire in Blight Town. Where the 6 tiki torches are at 4:20. Keep running straight and you will come to a tree branch you have to walk to get past bc it's so narrow. Keep following the path and you will loot the set and a remedy in a chest. VERY strong set even for mid-late game.

And the only thing you have to worry about in the poison lake is the skeeters and boulder barbarians, which, for the most part, can be easily avoided. The hardest part, as a matter of fact, would be getting to Ash Lake, which is a hell of a lot easier than the catacombs.

Sadly 600,000 souls stops being awesome pretty quick. It's nuts how expensive levels get. Get to 120 and NG+, then use this glitch with all your Hero souls saved up. Now that I know it still works I'm excited to try it :3

Lol, lots and lots of ladder climbing and tears. If you have already played through the game multiple times I dont recommend going down there as the return trip will be quite challenging for new players. You could however get a bunch of level-ups down there to make yourself a bit stronger and a bit easier. Though without proper armor, weapons, and skills that'll only get you so far.

Mike Hunt Ah, that makes sense. Nah, you can't teleport until you get the Lordvessel. Part of why I like DS1 the best. The whole world is connected through shortcuts and elevators and it feels nice. DS2 is way to teleport based in my opinion. DS3 did a good job of meshing the two level design strategies together tho.

There is a new way to do this glitch on the free version I found. Just look up infinite soul glitch dark souls 2014. The back step is the easiest way for me to so it.

NEW infinite souls\ consumible glitch. get claymore and put a consumible that has the option for a yes or no to use in ur quick slot. like the iron golem soul. swing sword and the last second of the swing press button for item use and then button for pause\menu. Start button on xbox360. Do the two buttons at almost the same time. Once in the menu go to estus flasks and press use. If done right u will have the option to use item or not to use item. Use item and it will give u what the item useally gives u, but it will not consume​ the item. works with fire keeper souls, boss souls, homeward bones or any item that has a yes or no option to use while in ur quick slot. works as of 2017 on Xbox 360 console and Xbox one. good luck with ur OP broken builds

Well you still have the 2-handed weapon swing/use boss soul at the frame the weapon hits the ground/open item menu immediately and drink estus/it will ask you do you want to use the soul once the menu is closed, it will add the souls but not use the boss soul.....repeat. On PC it looks like that - equip my great scythe 2-handed, press M1, at the moment it hit the ground press F (use boss soul), immediately after ESC and E+E to get to item menu to use estus

how to get infinite souls/humanity/consumables the easy way. set the item you want to use ie boss soul humanity whatever, do a roll and press the use item button at the endof the animation. press start immediately before the roll finishes, so roll x start on xbox. go to your items in the menu, choose to use dark seal. it will ask if you want to consume boss soul/humanity/whatever you have in the item slot. say yes, it will use a charge off dark seal instead of the item you used there you go infinite everything with no setup needed.

Ictus Tried that. I've been practicing with my Homeward Bone and Estus Flask. I know I got the timing down, 'cause I can back out of the menu and it still asks me if I want to use the bone, but if I go to my Flask in the menu and say Use It, the game never asks me if I want to use the Bone; it just makes me use the Flask and takes one away from me.

before you go through with this glitch you have to delete your game data on this game (without deleting the game itself) effectively deleting any and all patches done to the game, create a new game offline and do as the video shows. Though when you go to sign in online after you are satisfied with your character, your previous loads with be unusable. And all patches will be put back on the game. you still keep all the souls you have obtained before.

Awesome video! However, it does fail to mention that you have to go all the way back. Which is really f*****g hard. This is the easiest way to get back. It's difficult to do but don't rest at any bonfires along the way. This allows you to use a homeward bone to go back to the bonfire in the beginning near the blacksmith (this is where I started) However you need to be able to get all the way to the dragon on just the Estus flasks from the first bonfire. Pick your poison

This is an infinite consumables glitch. You just use the souls to level up. He even showed you how to get a better weapon than the crappy axe you start with. Shouldn't be a big deal going back out.

ok its 2016 and i finally got to the dragon covenant and got the dragon statue head this is for ps3 i turned away from the camera pressed square then faced the screen immediately pressing estus flask but doesn't work not sure if they have patched it if so could you tell me :/?

+Law Hopper Dragonhead glitch got patched long ago,so you can only do it with an unpatched game.I recommend googling "Dark Souls mule" ,that works on PS3

Octamuk 89 My guess is no. Sense it is patched and the backwards compatibilty only installs latest versions of a game.

Doesnt work here even after deleting saved game data and game utility data. I noticed when the dragon tail was cut off the weapon dropped on the ground which had to be picked up. When I did it there was nothing to pick up, the weapon automatically went into my inventory. This is different to what happened in the vid. Another thing, when I first bought the game I had to install it to the system, like most games... but after deleting all data when i put the game back in and started it up there was no downloading the game to the system. This should have happened after deleting the game utility data but since it hasnt im led to believe that even though I deleted data there must be some secret data logged somewhere that auto backs up game versions previously played.

Anyone know if clearing the cache works? That would remove all updates. It won't work if your character has DLC on it though I'm sure, same with Skyrim.
