Oh boy, you even made a trailer? It's been a while since I've been watching you grow as a Modder in DS2 community. Keep growing, dude. That's not my place for criticizing anything, so let me just say: the mod looks amazing, you did made the game objectively better to play for players that already had once played and even newcomers who wants to try something new. The trailer looks good, the only thing lacking in it it's more presence of the changes throughout the exploration, but the rest is there, doesn't give too much and it shows how early in the game a player will start to notice the changes. Good editing there. Keep going, Aoi.

Oh yeah I’ll definitely make another trailer showing off some good things that will be available in 2.0 once our development has gone a bit further. I didn’t actually plan to make a trailer, it’s just it came up in my mind when I made the installation tutorial video. But yeah this trailer isn’t necessarily themed around Seeker of Fire, these were kind of the thoughts I had while playing ds2, sort of the incredible harsh journey you experience. But yeah thanks for all of the support this time.

Hello I’ve been trying to run seeker of fire on my steam deck. I have done everything I can think of to run it and I’m still not getting it to launch. I’m running it on vortex manager and it’s installed and enabled. Game is booting up vanilla. I know it’s a bit obscure of a request but do you have any advice for a remedy? Thank you. hi would like to ask for help. The mod has a Baneful Spear weapon that falls from the Mytha boss, the Baneful Queen, but it has no texture and it works every other time. Maybe I'm stupid, but please help me solve the problem. Thank you in advance

put game texture settings to high. If high textures are too much for your go into SeekerOfFire folder then make a copy of the model folder and rename it to "model_lq", then the medium textures should work

Hi! First of all great mod, too bad it's not too complicated and I still have at the end 184 level without items for extra souls and the problem of too easy overpower is still present. There is 1 complaint: Dranglik had terrible lag. According to feelings - it is caused by custom light sources and possibly wet surfaces. More precisely - lag in the hall at warp "Servants' Room", 30 fps. Even stronger in the hall in front of Freya, 15 fps on the bossfight and after killing the boss the situation did not improve until I did not go far enough away And in Aldia's mansion I had the highest fps, about 80-90 and the candles and lights there did not cause such a severe drop in fps. There is 1 question: How and from what the Humanity Ring works, for what I am hollow - it gives stats, what I am in humanity - gives stats, that I unload all human effigies - it continues to give stats.

that is a hardware issue on your end, running this mod is like running ds3. The humanity ring makes you more powerful, but you hollow further, you'll hollow up until 10% of health is left.

I adjusted the STR stat to 24 so that the ring in its base state gives 27, which is not enough for a one-handed grab with false Moonlight. I brought the devastation to 10% of max health, but I still only get +3 to all stats except scholarliness. Patch dated 10/30/23 is installed.

Would love to but I have no idea how to change animation, TAEs in ds2 work a lot differently and custom animations are complicated if not impossible as of now

Thanks for replying! Just installed it this morning and it’s working like a dream! My laptop is mid tier, but I’m not having any issues. Another question: how “good” would you say magic is? I’m not asking balance, I mean good like fun/viable. I was reading the documentation and I’m just overwhelmed by the options available

@@ejspencer2662 Hm, good question. I would say roughly the same as vanilla, but with more cast uses. But melee is also pretty good.

Lighting is too dark for my taste, I have weak eyes, I'll easily get headaches. Maybe you can have the option for players to light it up or down.

Well first I wouldn’t recommend using a modded character in the original game, but if you want to switch back and fourth from modded to original game, you can move dinput8.dll and modengine.ini to a different place, maybe into a back folder which disables the mod. And when you want to play modded again, just place those two files back into the folder. Just a warning though, not to load your modded character in vanilla game.

yeah, first follow the tutorial video up until the first file is installed, then inside SeekerOfFire folder, remove everything inside except the Filter folder
