Dark Souls III - stutter fest

i have this stutter with k/m and installed it on seperate harddrives so its not a ssd or hdd problem

I also tried it on an SSD, the stutter was the same, every game improved vastly on my SSD except this shit. Wtf Fromsoftware.

ks22 are you using wireless controller? in my case it was a problem with wireless 360 adapter drivers. I switched to kB/mouse and then to XBO wired controller and the problem disappeared in both cases. it's not your hard drive, or video card or cpu. I think the game has issues reading output from a controller. also try using different USB port for you controller or kB/mouse.

Sickbrain hey. First sry for my bad english. I get the same fucking stutter with my one controller. Do you know a solution?

I have pretty good specs and i get a consistent 60 fps on high, but every once in a while at random times, either im walking around, fighting mobs or a boss, or even just standing still, my frames go to shit... any1 else have that and can some1 help me?

Same here. It's great 99.9% of the time and then it says fuck you and cuts my frame rate in half for a millisecond then it's back to bein a sexy ass game.

i remember this being an issue in dark souls 2 and it wasnt fixed till scholar came out

+Sturm24x my gaming SSD that has TW3 and Elite installed. Never had issues playing those.

Did you let the NVIDIA GeForce Experience optimize the settings for you? I have a NVIDIA 960M (laptop) and get constant FPS.

it's a problem with USB controller. in my case it's wireless 360, but some had similar issues with PS4 pad. Unplugging it and switching to keyboard and mouse removed this stutter completely. Still looking for a solution to play with gamepad and without stutter.
