I always use the first slot . If you can see the other inventory screen behind the brightness hit select then down and right on the dpad same time . If it worked you should be on ok . Right to default, select it and it shows use selected item, down dpad 999 and there you go . Additionally you dont have to purchase the wooden arrows but you do have to have enough souls to purchase them and bring up that value in the purchase screen . That loads 999 into the memory . You can dupe 99 items from the start but a merchant with an item you can buy 999 of is necessary to go higher . Some items like boss souls max at 99 which is the pre-set prior to 999 getting loaded . Technicalitys i admit . Buying 999 arrows cost less than 3k but if you dont want them it isn't necessary to buy them just hit cancel and your good to go .

Honestly you explained the material way better than anybody else I have seen in a youtube vid. They tend to not know how to talk slowly and smoothly enough that people can follow. As if their video needs to be just a few minutes long and they don't have the time to make a video longer.

weight limit is roughly 10000 Giant shields weigh 18 18 x 550 = 10080 buy Caestus drop caestus drop 10-15 for giant shields for good measure (453 allow caestus pick up so buy 470) talk to andre, hover over caestus,click then cancel rearrange the item you wish to dupe to the top of the list hover over brightness RT/R1 + A/X A/X, down,right,A/X down A/X talk to Andre and hover over caestus end of setup Dupe Loop: Drop held Caestus pick up original Caestus talk to andre, hover over caestus,click then cancel rearrange the item you wish to dupe to the top of the list hover over brightness RT/R1 + A/X A/X, down,right,A/X down A/X Hopefully that explanation works as well

@@orlandos8183 If I remember correctly, after you defeat him in invader form, his armor set can be looted from a corpse situated at Gravelord Nito's arena.

If the number isn't showing up negative, it means you need to be carrying more weight.

It's tricky! Make sure that you're not pressing X and R1 at the exact same time. You have to press X just a fraction of a second before you press R1. Keep at it! You'll eventually get it.

I cant do it. I did it once and there is some detail Im missing. I am at 10k weight + (some over) I drop caestus, can't pick it up. Drop 29 (if I drop 30 caestus is gone) Then I pick up caestus, I only get 1. One time I got 16 and unsure how I did it. Can someone explaine what I'm missing?

I could be wrong, and someone who understands the mechanics of the glitch feel free to correct me, but it sounds like there's a very fine line between the correct weight and incorrect weight due to whatever items you're carrying in your inventory. Maybe try putting some things in your bottomless box and then try it again?

I'm sure you could. As long as you have enough to exceed the item burden limit, theoretically anything should work.

@maviswinchesterandres2266 Most likely, you dropped too many of whichever item you're using (pike or armor). It can be tricky to get it just right, but keep trying! You'll get it!

To be fair...I had never heard of a caestus until playing Dark Souls. Never heard it pronounced. Honestly, I just clumsily say which ever pronunciation rolls out first. Anyway, I'm glad you find it amusing.
