You don't need to use estus btw any consumable will work. A better way to do this is use the orange soapstone. Doesn't consume estus so you don't have to be sat at a bonfire to do it because you can use the soapstone unlimited times and it won't consume it.

AH ok for everyone on pc when you enter your inv and select the firekeepers soul or the boss souls click use then press esc to open menu basicly (firekeepersoul>use just after press esc then you will see the text on the stam bar and you will be able to access your inv again to drink estus instead "quote from someone else- make sure you are 2 handing your currently equipped weapon, and you have to click the start/options button about 1-2 frames after you click use item, almost instantly, hopefully this helps my friend,) it still works on pc but start is replaced with esc and x replaced with E for use

It worked, after six attempts, the glitch worked. At first, I was annoyed because I was trying the regular Dark Souls glitch (with the rolling with your character then fast pressing X and start), and that trick didn't work for the remastered. Then I came for the YT to look for a solution and found your video, thanks. I must say that, I'm only doing this because I already beat the game multiple times without glitches, so I don't have the patience (or time) to be farming for hours for souls. Specially because I had did 1000 gamerscore in the X360 version, but I lost my profile (and I couldn't retrieve it), and I didn't want to do all over again in the hard way.

Why every guide i find does it the wrong and complicated way? All you have to do is to use a Claymore, swift it. Press X mid-swift to use a boss soul dedicated to it, then quickly press start after that, select Estus Flask, select use, the game will ask if you wish to use the boss soul, you press "yes" and then you use it, but it's not wasted, Estus Flask is used instead. It's such an easy way that i can easily farm souls near campfire. But your guide is way complicated than that and provides a way more complicated way to do it.

I found another infinite humanity glitch where you take off the ring of favor and protection and use a fire keeper soul but you have to do it as soon as gwyn is defeated and you have the option of choosing an ending it gives you 99 humanity quick *IT WORKS TRUST ME*

@@noleae Gotta fat roll and do it during the fat roll animation, so it takes some finger dexterity, but yeah, it still works. Just make sure you 1 hand your weapon as a male, and 2 hand it as a female

As of tonight Mon June 11 2018 at 11:44pm... I had it to the point where it had both msgs in each corner of the screen... but when id went to consume an estus flask, it hadnt worked. I then accidentally went to continue the video to see if id done something wrong... and it replayed on youtube through my xbox and i had to reload dark souls. Then... i tried to repeat the process, and now when i hit start while hitting A to consume the soul, it doesnt pull up the menu at all.... but rather just completely backs me out of all menus as if it no longer works. Fixed? Maybe? I play on xbox one.

I can't even get past the fucking Taurus Demon because those damned skeletons. If there were no skeletons I'd have a 15% better chance of beating the bastard. I watched people run through them as soon as they start the game and they get through it fine, but no I get fucking gang raped by them.. I get hit once and half of my health is gone, dodging boss hits easy fucking 5 skeletons with shields... Impossible apparently

You mean the skeletons shooting arrows during the fight? There's ladder besides the stairs, kill them. Another tip, when you see him spawning, run back, climb up and use a plunging attack
