Because it's not the tft you know. It's 3.5 with the modern system of the current set. There are 50 copies of each champion, all 5-cost 3* got reworked, and much more stuff.

You're sacrificing damage which leads to bleeding, tho besides it only generate small amount of exp if the battle is quick, its like having that silver augment cutting corners.
