It truly is a sight to behold especially knowing that such dark and gritty and quite frankly disturbing imagery and atmosphere came from a MARVEL movie. Sure the rest of the movie is quite campy and very reminiscent of the late 90s early 00s cheesy one liners and character tropes, BUT the intro alone stands out from the rest of the movie for it's sheer commitment to it's dark tone and just how masterful the vampire underworld was introduced. It portrayed the true danger and horror of it.

Why be half-hearted?. We had a blood-rave in Amsterdam a few years back. Just before they started the sprinklers, they gave us a few second's warning with the musical cue from Blade. You either crowded under a sprinkler, or ran for the door (and tried not to slip).

I agree with you, tbh right now I'm completely rewriting a book series that I want to finish and I found this Mix while I was writing a scene that is similar to what you explained except it is set in the future instead of the present. Funny thing is that both of the characters that are introduced are semi-goth girls who act like the perfect children but there is much more to them that meets the eye and that what I'm kind of going for is that nothing is what it seems until you see all sides of it.
