What can I say? You caress the music so sensitively that I CAN hear words right through the 'song' like beautiful, gorgeous, excellent and most importantly this is the best soothing ear balm there can be for tired ears. Bravo!

Sherlock Holmes played it at Watson's request ! "I see that I have alluded above to his powers upon the violin. These were very remarkable, but as eccentric as all his other accomplishments. That he could play pieces, and difficult pieces, I knew well, because at my request he has played me some of _Mendelssohn’s Lieder,_ and other favourites. When left to himself, however, he would seldom produce any music or attempt any recognized air." (A Study in Scarlet)

I wrote a comment in Japanese. Because I thought you are Japanese. Are you? My Spring piano recital is two weeks away, and I will play this piece, finally. My professor made me play this!! She changed some fingering, so I became to able to play this !! I hope I won't make so many mistakes :(

@@MXChan , Thank you for your reply. Yes, I performed Op.30 No.1 for Spring recital. I did good job. Currently, I'm practicing Tchaikovsky and Mozart piano Sonata( always). First, I thought you are Japanese, because you put "Pikachu" on your piano. 謝 謝 for posting beautiful pieces.

Excellent voicing, especially in measures 32 - 35. Those measures have been a stumbling block for me in learning this piece. Any advice?
@MXChan2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! It's hard to give advice through just writing though. I would normally just do slow practice emphasising the melody and do staccato on the accompanying triplets (to tell your fingers that they are supposed to be soft). After a few repetitions switch back to legato again and they should come out super soft underneath the melody. :)
@DeanNovi2 жыл бұрын
@@MXChan Thank you kindly! I'll give that a try.

Dhamma Pada either needs to refine his hearing or he talks without Knowing too much about freedom of interpretation in the pianist part!
@Assassunn5 жыл бұрын
I like your performance very much, but why does the piano sounds out of tune ? Is it a microphone recording or a VST plugin with a special preset ? please!
@MXChan5 жыл бұрын
This is the built in sound of the Kawai CS6, with reverb added, and recorded directly onto USB. Probably sounds a little off because this is a blend of two built in sounds of the Kawai digital

I love the songs you play on your Kawai, however sometimes the sound of your piano, due to the exaggerated amount of reverb you added is a bit disturbing. Can you find yourself in this?
