this piece proves that even without words, Mendelssohn can carry so much emotion in a song. Beautifully played Traum, what a start to the week 🖤

Every classical piece has emotions carried on its own way. Some of the emotions in them cannot be expressed through words, you must feel them and this piece is easier to understand from most of them.
@davisatdavis12 жыл бұрын
Well, that is what classical music is. Lots of which words can't say. There's only so much one could express using words. With music, there's no limit.

Sitting in Disney Concert Hall in between Dudamel's Estancia and Rite of Springs, I very much appreciate this, feel like the perfect Intermezzo for me! ( I am sitting right behind All the drums, including double sets of timpani)!

@Traumfanblueheron2 жыл бұрын
@@pv89820 Exceptionally performed! The conductor Gustavo Dudamel, all the orchestra members, the baritone, Gustavo Castillowho sung in the Ginastera's Estancia, and the composer Alex Nante of the Premier piece, El Rio de Luz were all excellent. The complete Estancia was recorded today, I will let you know when they broadcast on LA Phil Web site, it's a really fun piece. My ears survived 😂 the Rite of Springs! Pre concert lecturer talked about how Stravinsky's harmonic dissonance, the tonal ambiguity, the pounding irregularities sounded disturbing but really is actually quite simple., it was exciting to see up close on how the drummer tunes the timpani and drums. I also didn't realize that the musician wet their finger before he taps on the tambourine. Also used cowbells by tapping on the round end of the handle instead of shaking it. Just fascinating to see some of the unusual percussion instruments.
