This "callous" person who tricked Wendy's parents learned her lesson well from an American Govt that has lied and cheated nations around the World and has lied and cheated its own people too. "Monkey see, monkey do." How can you expect morality at the bottom rungs of a Society that has no morality at the top ? Sick societies produce sick people. This "callous" person is just one of many millions of Sick Americans who see our Sick Leaders as their role models.

Even if we weren’t friends I couldn’t imagine taking their car. Id just have them drop me off somewhere. I remember years ago I had 2 new friends in my car (completely wasted) and they started fighting, one in the backseat and one in the passenger seat while I was driving. I remember yelling at them and swinging towards them (total mom mode) to knock it off and by the time it was done there were chunks of hair in my car from the fight. I still drive their asses home and then kicked them out and then never texted them again. I couldn’t imagine just leaving them and we were close to home.

"Why are people so cruel it beggers the imagination" FYI the expression is "it beggars belief" meaning "it's unbelievable" and it's beggars (verb) not beggers (plural noun). People are unbelievably mean spirited, always looking to hurt someone. It really takes an awful person to prank a grieving parent by perpetrating a hoax upon them. It's unforgivably awful.

Better yet, why not call Kankakee 911 to dispatch a patrol car immediately instead of waiting until the next day? Admittedly, the Kankakee police would have had to backtrack the same way the Woodstock officer did but at least 12 hours would have been saved. And maybe their familiarity with the area could have located both phones sooner. Yes it was a false lead but if it were legitimate, precious hours were lost.

Just a word to the wise, if your kid runs away with friends, gets abandoned by them. And calls for money to come home do not send money. Tell them to stay right there that you're coming to get them and leave immediately to go get them. While you're on the way call the local authorities. Explain the situation and plead, beg or bribe them to look after them until you get there.

@Mischa21xo
@Mischa21xo 11 ай бұрын
A lot of the times, if your kid is in a different state, you cannot go to get them for many different reasons, and the amount of time it would take for you to get a flight there only to come back would be ridiculous. I would ask where my child is, make sure they are in a safe or public location like a restaurant or something, then I would call the local police and tell them the situation. If the police you are on the phone with is in a major city or a city with an airport, I would ask them to please pick my child up and drop them off at the airport so I know they are at the airport safely and will not get kidnapped by somebody. After I get off the phone with the police, I'm booking my child a flight back home, calling them back and staying on the phone with them until the police arrive. Then the police pick them up, drop them off, and the child takes their flight home and that is that. It is mind boggling though what kind of parenting you would have to be doing to ever find yourself in that situation to begin with. So many God awful parents out there and so many parents that only parent halfway where they forget or are just too exhausted to deal with/teach their children some of the most important things like basic respect/self respect, morals, values, manners, honesty etc. If you instill those very important things into your children throughout their lives, your child isn't going to be pregnant at 15 or running away out of state either... but very very few parents ever do, which is why so many are in such terrible situations with their children, because they only want to parent halfway, or not at all...then things happen like they did in this video. Really sad.

I hope Wendy's parents don’t blame Jesse for what happened, he didn’t force her to go with him and everyone says they were in love. The ones who stole his car and abandoned them on the other hand have to accept some culpability. It was a beautiful gift of forgiveness to give Jesse's cross to Justin. I really hope those so called “friends” are feeling guilty for leaving Jesse and Wendy to die at the hands of Resendiz, the man who was dubbed “the railway killer”. I hope karma comes back to bite their asses. With friends like them, who needs enemies? As for the evil, heartless person who made the phone call pretending to be Wendy, I really hope karma bites their ass big time because what they did was just plain cruel. Wendy’s parents were going through enough pain with their daughter being missing. The last thing they needed was that cruel prankster calling them pretending to be their missing daughter. Putting them through that was extremely cruel and unnecessary. Especially since Wendy was already dead and no one would know until 3 years later. R.I.P Jesse and Wendy.

I just wish these investigations could lead us at least to know what goes on in the minds of these serial killers when they re about to kill an innocent person. I m always so horrified at the way it ends without them asking those people the reason why they keep killing people for no good reason.

I was horrified by this statement as well. Eventhough he is already on the death row, his lawyers still advise him not to speak to the investigators. What kind of life is this? It s so unfair given that everybody already knows he s a serial killer

She didn't really have to. They had pretty much decided it was his body but she didn't believe it and wouldn't sign off without seeing it. I don't blame her for wanting to be sure, but she did opt to see the photo (cleaned up as best as they could) against their advice.

I always wonder if death is really a good punishment for someone so vile and vicious. It seems like the easy way out.
@lottianne
@lottianne 2 жыл бұрын
Many people say put them to death. I however feel that part of their punishment should be to rot in jail and suffer the consequences that come with committing murder. Jail is not a place that is easy to live. I think they should be locked in solitary confinement, with only the bare necessities, thus having no other human contact. Alright they are still alive, but they suffer. Death is easy, and they are not truely suffering. I definitely think death is the easy way out.

It is said murderers cross a person’s path every 7 minutes. It is a dangerous world out there. Jesse had a habit of making poor decisions. When I was younger, that’s why people enlisted in the Navy. Grow up, see the world, get paid a bit and then the Navy will pay for your college after 4 years in the Navy, I think it was. So sad for everyone. Prayers and blessings going out to everyone.

Sometimes the cops seem more interested in keeping the evidence than they are in keeping the person alive. If she went to a Hanson concert that would likely be fatal

I applaud the relentless work of these investigators , i really do but one of the 1st things that crossed my mind when they found Jesse's body was why are you not looking further up the tracks...like miles further This brings back memoris of the Caylee Anthony case and how she was found so close to home There is no way they even searched that area because they would have smelled decomp with her only being 17 feet from the road Its not just that or this case ...its many Time and time again i veiw cases where the missing or dead are right under their noses they just dont go far enough...

There has to be a law stopping defense lawyers from asking a prime suspect not to talk to the investigating police.if not that guilty conscience got over the merendez guy, he wouldn't have confessed on his lawyer's orders.

I understand why they are put to death, but the convicted does not truely suffer, death is the easy out. They are put to death humanely and suffer nothing at all. All that happens is that are gone from this life. Just my opinion for what it’s worth.

Why would you stop your client from talking while he is on death row in Texas? It's not like it can get any worse than that, they are not famous for converting death sentences. You are just preventing the families from knowing where their kids are. The ring and the Winnie-the-Pooh watch of 16-year-old Wendy made me sad. She wanted to be so grown-up and married but was still such a kid that deserved so much more.
