Finally after 30 years they have made an arrest. I was in 5th grade in Hernando county when she went missing and was eventually found, I remember how much this shock in the community and to this day it still weighs heavy on my heart. I’m so glad they got someone and I hope it provides some measures of comfort and closure for her family.

This was one of the 1st cases I can remember. She was only 2 months younger than me. When my father heard about her being found he cried and it was the 1st time I ever saw him cry. I lived in the same county and it really hit close to home.

So so sad =( I'm 45 now (female) and my brother is 3 years older. We're not close and growing up, we always fought as most siblings do. I don't remember the details, but one day after school, I guess I was in 4th and he was in 7th and he wasn't home yet. It was late, maybe 430 or so and we started to get worries. This was about '85 or so. I clearly remember going to our room (we lived in a 2 bedroom mobile home and shared bunkbeds) and sitting on bottom bunk crying and praying for my brother. Thank GOD he finally showed up sometime later! Turns out he had to stay for tutoring, missed the bus and had to walk all the way home ..we lived in a small town but quite a ways from school. I can't imagine what missing children's families go thru. I'm so sorry for their loss and pain.

I lived in the same county as Jennifer did and was a senior in high school when she was abducted. The whole county was shaken by her murder. Everyone had their eyes peeled for that blue truck. Some of these cases are especially tough. As an adult male, seeing other men and knowing they've committed such atrocities, really breaks my heart and makes me fear for our salvation as humans. Being driven to commit such acts surely does incite bewilderment and horror by those of us who have never had so much as a thought even remotely in the same universe as this person. So many of us suffer, whether from apathy, be it mental, or physical in all of these cases. It does make one wonder, is death the reward? Because the place I sometimes see is not the home I envisioned for myself and all of my people and their progeny. I see and feel a hell, a place that I have come to regard as fascinating and terrifying. Cunning, cruel, visceral. Given time, the truth will surely reveal itself to all.

They have DNA it's been tested it lead to a suspect but it went no where after I'm assuming the issue is it's only a partial the DNA was kept from the public until about 2 years ago genealogy lead to man but then lead to the man's father from my understanding he was in prison or something that so far couldn't be him but I think it's a partial so that's the issue although they haven't said either way publicly

Im so sorry for your loss i know it hurts so much but keep doing things have coffee with friends go to the flea market do something go out live it will help jusg walk let your thoughts be and try to center your heart and mind meditate but dont quit what ever you do reach out do things it helps i promise ive lost my beautiful son i know how it hurts i miss my son everyday i still cry its been a few years now it stillcrunches my heart brungs fresh reads but i wipe them away and do something else get up move rooms even change your surroundings it helps trust in God you will be reunited in Heaven ! I belive that saved me jesus saved me my heart still hurts but i will see him again one day too! Stay as happy as you can spread love and hope❤
