For those of us who buy abandoned projects in pieces..... I really appreciate the time you take for the before and after camera shots. Big help in putting things back the way were intended. The shots of the parts are also a big plus. Thanks!

Stumbled upon your RC builds and was really impressed. (not a RC guy). Then seen your BMW vids. Awesome! Love the way you film a lot of the work. A bit a narration on what your doing/trying to accomplish would be very helpful

Just so you know coming from a master welder's standpoint, All those litttle pinholes on the welds that came through clear after primering the brace, Should have been reground back to bare steel and all the pinholes filled with more weld till its totally filled. IF you don't, It will collect dirt, debris and water and be eaten out from behind by rust...... Some good metal fab work from what I seen.... I remember replacing a front clip on an old E30 and a customer walked by then came under my lift and said "Whys that frame all full of holes on the bottom in the front?? it looks like a big wasps nest!!" I chuckled a bit and said "Its a safety feature & its designed like that..... Its designed to crush and crumble in to absorb impacts on the front end". I got a big "Ohhhh ok" LOL... Have a good day......

i watched your video again. amazingly detailed. the best e30 fix video i have seen and i like it. i am just wondering why you want to change the radiator support? this seems to involve welding. oh btw, what did you use to spray that white thing on the radiator support? is it a special paint? i am going to get it too.
@DarkDragonWing3 жыл бұрын
The old support is bent and rusty. This new one is better and I also made it removeable. That paint is an automotive primer spray. I paint the metal to prevent rust for now.

Nice project. Like the stuff you do. I’m thinking of getting the dollies you have. But I also think of doing a raised wheels support like one foot high in order for me to work under the car. What do you use to support the wheels?
@DarkDragonWing3 жыл бұрын
I'm glad to hear! Here they are: www.harborfreight.com/1000-lb-capacity-vehicle-dollies-2-pc-61283.html
@selespeed33 жыл бұрын
@@DarkDragonWing thanks. the dollies is good to wheel car into a tight space or move it around. i started my first DIY project by changing the master clutch cylinder 2 weeks ago. i am now encouraged to do much more and would want to do cooling systems repair replacement and work on under the car. but i want to have support for the wheels to raise the car instead of just relying on jack stands. do you have any recommendations on what wheel supports to use to complement the jack stand?
@DarkDragonWing3 жыл бұрын
@@selespeed3 If you don't trust a jack stand, then use a few pairs of jack stands. For supporting the wheels, you can use some wood blocks. You can also get the ramps here: www.harborfreight.com/13000-lb-portable-vehicle-ramp-set-63956.html?_br_psugg_q=car+ramps
