Hot dang. Love watching this build! Reminds me of my own E30 turbo project from a year ago. I also have the same oil cooler setup in the exact same spot, minus the thermostat. OH! Don’t forget to install a PCV catch can otherwise you’ll develop positive crankcase pressure and IT WILL shove oil from the oil pan back into your turbo housing causing a TON of smoke. Amazing job as always dude 👍🏼

A catch can doesn't prevent positive crank case pressure. Simply disconnecting the breather hose at the throttle body will. From there, you can do whatever you want with it. Open to atmo, go to a can with a filter pod, can to turbo elbow, whatever. Just not anywhere after the turbo (positive pressure).

Great video as always love the attention to detail, my only concerns are oil cooler shouldn't be mounted with both inlet and outlet pointing downward, it can trap air at the top during operation and will make oil cooler inefficient. The other concern is oil should always be filtered before going to an oil cooler, soot or deposits in oil can be trapped on fins inside oil cooler tubes an create a blockage over time, just some things to consider. Keep up the good work.

I think that’s why he has an AN fitting with a 1/8NPT slot on it. To attach the turbo oil feed line. I could be wrong.
