Darkest Dungeon is a role-playing video game developed and published by Red Hook Studios. The game was first released for Microsoft Windows and OS X in January 2016, which followed a year-long early access development period. Later that year, it was released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Linux, with a port for iOS being released in 2017, and ports for Nintendo Switch and Xbox One being released by 2018.
Darkest Dungeon has the player manage a roster of heroes to explore dungeons below a gothic mansion the player has inherited. Played out in a mix of real-time movement and turn-based combat, a core feature of Darkest Dungeon is the stress level of each hero that increases with further exploration and combat; a character sustaining a high-stress level may gain afflictions that will hamper, or possibly enhance, their performance as an explorer. The game received positive reviews from critics, garnering several award nominations, and went on to sell over two million copies. A sequel, Darkest Dungeon II, was announced in February 2019 and a board game adaptation is in development.

A bit late, but spiders are easy yet deadly at the same time. They have low hp and can be one shot but sense who is the weak link in the party and will dedicate thier entire family to killing your squishes. God help you, if intiative isn't on your side and you have a 20 hp dude on the third slot.

5:00 Now, let me get this straight. You can stall indefinitely against big enemies. And the tentacle guy by himself cannot secure a kill because he has only one action and no bleeds/blights/stuns. Yes, he has a ton of damage, but a single dedicated healer can outheal him reliably, especially if you pair him with a strong (de)buffer. Here you had 3 healers on your whole team so you could exit this fight on full health. And if you had a stress healer it could be even better.

This was the best video I have watched in 2022, and I am trying to finally finish the game (After a 3 year break lol). I decided to try darkest difficulty, since I kept reloading saves whenever I fucked up on bloodmoon and that took away the enjoyment back in 2018. I will do this and then I might have that small shard of innocence left and ´try bloodmoon again (without save scamming)
