5:00 Now, let me get this straight. You can stall indefinitely against big enemies. And the tentacle guy by himself cannot secure a kill because he has only one action and no bleeds/blights/stuns. Yes, he has a ton of damage, but a single dedicated healer can outheal him reliably, especially if you pair him with a strong (de)buffer. Here you had 3 healers on your whole team so you could exit this fight on full health. And if you had a stress healer it could be even better.

This was the best video I have watched in 2022, and I am trying to finally finish the game (After a 3 year break lol). I decided to try darkest difficulty, since I kept reloading saves whenever I fucked up on bloodmoon and that took away the enjoyment back in 2018. My tips that have led me to beating Stygian/Bloodmoon 3/3 times I've played it - Keep radiant light as long as you can. Lower light offers more rewards, but aside from a few times with short dungeons, even with constant radiant light, I still don't have nearly enough inventory for all the treasures that are thrown at me. - Take full advantage of your roster and the stress heal for idle heroes. Heroes that are left behind who aren't doing something else will heal 5 stress per week, so having a full roster allows you to take advantage of this so that you don't need to waste money on stress treatment as often. You should already be mixing and matching different teams for different situations. Playing with districts allows you access to the puppet theatre - this is one of the first buildings I go for, as it triples this stress relief - bringing it to 15 stress healed per week on idle heroes. - When you get enough members on your roster that you find yourself with multiples of each class, see where you can specialize them (i.e. locking in quirks with one Jester who has Warrens explorer and Beast Slayer (making him great for the warrens), and another Jester with Weald Explorer and Man Hater, making him great for the Weald). Obviously, this is a little less fruitful with the Crusader, Bounty Hunter, Houndmaster, and Occulist classes, as they each have their own areas they specialize in based on their skillset (Ruins, Weald, Warrens, and Cove, respectively) due to their damage bonuses against the enemy times most commonly found in each. But it's one more thing to keep in mind to build a wide scenario of teams that work better for different areas - The hellion is an underrated BAMF. With high crits, high damage, and respectably high natural health, as well as a small self-heal ability, her Iron Swan can easily wipe out a lot of pesky fourth-rank enemies on the first turn. Get her outfitted with the Ancestor's Pen, and watch her absolutely wreck the front two lines, the back line, and move forward with her devastating breakthrough. I find her and Highwayman make a great team in the first two ranks. Highwayman's Duelist Advance and Point Blank let him move around the front two positions as needed, as well as Hellion's breakthrough moving her forward, making no enemy out of reach if you plan your moves right.
