Unclean giants are pure evil- today I was fighting one, and it got a critical hit and instantly downed my tank at full-health with 25% prot- very scary encounter

@@bght13nah bro you underestimated the giant. It is notorious for 90+ damage crits and can easily one shot real tanks that have decent protection.

This is probably one of, if not the only boss that wasn't (directly) the ancestor's fault. She was just really messed up already. Sure she probably got worse when he sent her to the weald, but he didnt actively turn her into a monster

If I had to guess, Brigands would be fighting the other factions the most. Especially in the Wealds. Otherwise, I have a theory that all the factions have a connection to the Darkest Dungeon and in some form are subservient to it. But I'll have to keep that one in the pocket until the Darkest Dungeon video.

I’ve honestly watched this video so many times, really do love this hope to see these again when DD 2 comes out of early access. Also I know this is unrelated to the video but I’m half way through DD finally after all these years killed my first virago and during my journey to the hag witch boss fight I kill 5 of them accompanied by giants only for my hellion to die to a brigand. Bruh. Anyway about to beat the game probably next week and move to DLC soon, your series has really encouraged me to finish it thank you hope to see more content soon.

The content there seems to be stretched thin and mostly covered in the main video about the Ancestor. Feels like this should be a part of a bigger video and not even about locations but rather about the aftermath of Darkest Dungeon -- what happens around the manor and how Descendant would go about restoring it. (Before the inevitable new wave of eldrich horrors coming with DD2 timeline). Do you burn the Wealds? Will heroes traumatized by Darkest Dungeon stay around for the extermination of swinefolk, fishmen and fungi creatures or will they try to find a way to communicate and coexist with the results of Ancestor's mistakes?

I agree, he seems to just repurpose barks and quotes from the ancestor about the final boss, and when you first zone into the area. As well as some speculation based on the abilities of the enemies therein, and the background art.

Major spoiler Alert: When you kill final boss (heart of darkness), the cutscene shows you accidentaly destroy the world or something, repeating the process of gun suicide, the letter to heir, etc. Thus there wont be way or time to destroy the rest of the monsters (Unless im missing on something, lemme know in case)

@@mirhrabos3283 I think you misunderstand the cyclic nature of the lore, things don't repeat precisely, but rather in spirit. We "win" = heart sleeps again until the next power hungry individual like Ancestor wakes it up.
