By far the best bass demos on KZbin! I'm always blown away by how you guys manage to keep the videos concise while never failing to deliver satisfactory content and all the knob settings!

Love these videos, been binge watching the lot! You guys really tick the boxes for what I want to see. You should make a bigger deal of the DI track you have in the description, its very valuable!

A staple on my pedal board for years, all the way back to the Microtubes era, then the Deluxe and now an Ultra. The only other pedals that survived this long are the B:Assmaster and an old beat-to-death Bad Stone.

With regards to the vid, I'd be happy to hear more examples played with fingers. It's a bit too plec heavy.

Has anyone noticed that the vintage isn't a 'vintage' tone at all. It's a variety of the Darkglass modern growl for metal.

Sounds like the Marshall Guv’nor to me

Late to the party but yes! It’s got a lot of versatility to it, more mid forward and warmer than the B7K which I’m needing for a project right now

You are the best, just a question, that bass has the seymour douncan microphones? or are they the originals of the factory ?, thanks

Are you referring to the red JP-90 with the Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound set?
@cristianechevarria75327 жыл бұрын
I've seen that in a previous video, this same fender jp, they changed the original microphones for a duncan, so my question whether they are the originals or the duncan

The UI of the grunt and attack toggles is not intuitive at all. Plus they are different. Grunt: up/mid/down = boost/cut/flat. Attack: up/mid/down = flat/boost/cut I'd prefer for ease of use: up/mid/down = boost/flat/cut
@klaymeister7 жыл бұрын
The Blacktop has something special. Yeah it's muddy, but it would sound good in a mix.

@TheBassChannel7 жыл бұрын
I don’t believe the Ultra line will get the V2 treatment. The main difference in the V2 for the B7K was the frequency selectors, which this has. The Vintage Deluxe will probably get a V2, though.

Oh, that’s a tough one. Will prefers the Vintage and Chris prefers the B7K. They both have their place in different styles. The B7K video will be released soon. Hopefully that will help your decision.
