Just a note for flashing void from a Yodarha main, you are invincible for the whole duration so dont have to move around to dodge with it, u can even use it on thin air and still be invincible the whole time!

FYI, if you parry an attack with Y/triangle, and follow up with X/square, you'll do the last basic combo, which if you follow it with combo finisher, your basic combo will be cut to the last combo, and that might be another way to get marks faster..

Not enough people mention this. honestly the best way to start a fight. Counter attack into X which will be as you say, the 5th and final combo chain... follow up with Y finisher and continue the loop. Drop the loop? get good and counter another attack, reset the supplemental damage and carry on your way. Also remember, you can always put up to 2 dodges quickly at any time during the finisher/attack and you wont drop the combo chain. this makes it so you can maintain the combo chain and bunny hop around the map to the next group of targets. With proper dodging and movement you'll always have combo up and thus always have easy access to 3 marks asp. Do this with a link attack/finisher and you can easily get 3 marks in 3 seconds!

Some tips from my experience: Awakening is a great gap closer cause it also lets you jumpstart yodarha’s triple shroud especially if you lose them Being smart and using his skills to skip the first shroud and speed up your combos is really useful along with burning skills (if you wanna gamble on that 75%) before using perpetual rotation is fun too. I like using flashing void for fights that empty mist would get me killed or for bosses that dont let you build combo easily due to movement or just being too aggro, since there’s just so many s Also i dont know the math but during link time you can spam awakening into combo finisher, honestly not sure whats the best for him to use lol

Yodarha’s SBA dmg is innately boosted to 999,999 at max shroud stacks, this means if you use linked together lvl 30 and his trice blade skill at max shrouds you can deal up to 2,400,000 dmg without a Chainburst. You don’t glass cannon, supplementary damage or war elemental to reach it just one life on the line/ tyranny and combo booster lvl 30.

It seems that with full stamps activating Hymn, it does also inflict more damage on the normal attacks depending on the amount of mirrors left. I see it on the damage numbers. But I don't know if its entirely true. Yoda is so fun to play with just because of his speediness and combo finishers. The MVP with him is unreal if you know the combo's with a good build of high end sigils.

Consider using drain if possible because on fast dmg dealers as yodarha it heals a ton. I have it on my swordmaster's art and I can literally take sky fall head on (with guts) and heal all my hp in just a combo

I always liked him but ive started to main him since I got his unique sigil from the merchant. Right after that I also I got Eugen's unique Sigil+ his other unique sigil, So both unique on the same one; which I'm pretty sure is a god roll right? You mentioned that Flashing Void only has s at the end. However, when I used it against Pyet-A during the mechanic where he has the bubble in the middle, I was able to the entire time I was using the skill.

I added that note to specify that it has s while you are dashing, but that you can get hit on that small time frame where yodarha attacks. I've been hit a few times while doing it, on that brief window

I sometimes use flashing void as a panic to get out of taking damage on big hit AoEs like furycane nihillas tornadoes I’ll just flash into them and hit her while everyone else is staying out of it. Because of mirror image to party, I think Yodarha has the best synergy with a group of full DPS. He makes Charlotta and Zeta shine. The 4th would probably be Namraya or Lancelot depending on fight. Bltzz's group was showing how broken this is and potential incoming nerfs for Yodarha

I think people are misunderstanding buffs in this game. Buffs arent for max dps builds. They are for support for example I made a lancelot build with Flight fight sigil. This sigil is curio only and makes any dodge a perfect dodge but you lose 50% attack. However with Tyranny, Dodge payback. Catastrophe, Nimble onslaught and 4 dmg cap sigils I can still hit the dmg cap with despite the 50%. Ive seen max dps builds hit 19.8k with lancelot and I hit 15k but when I dodge I also hit the 19k. The buffs are for getting to the cap with utility sigils like flight or fight. They arent useless, youtuber builds are just one dimensional.

Eugen, Vane, Yordha. Eugen is the best dps and has defense down AND paralyze. Vane has invincibility and easy 2nd or 3rd dps. Yord gives dodge and has probably the highest dps in the game. (Minus stationary vas).

Try running a build with Nimble Defense (T.30) Dodge Payback (T.30) Nimble Onslaught (T.30) Untouchable (T.15) Flight over Fight (T.15) Improved Dodge (T.15) Uplift (T.45) using Yodarha's "Hymn of the Hundred" (Nullifies 1-3 hits) skill, you'll virtually nerf "The Final Vision" quest with 8 second EASY invincibility triggers that you can AGGRESSIVELY control. Use your (%) modifiers and buffs on (DMG) accordingly and you'll even still hit damage scores in the (damage cap [235%]) ranges, not to mention have insanely fast SBA charge due to the "Nimble Onslaught & Uplift" sigil levels. (Currently pulling similar DPS on this compared to my DPS sigil build on him too) Takes a while to farm the setup, but, been soloing Lucy for a two days now since this post all because of this build.

Quick thing about tit for tat: if you time it perfectly as an enemy is about to hit you, you actually build all ur shroud marks. On top of that if you use it while already at full marks you won't lose them(again as long as you time it right)

Yodarha is the one char I first saw and said "Yep, that's my first char". I prefer Sky shatter and awakening for his skills (with perpetual motion and hymn). Both very fast, low cool down. Means once you hit link time you can chain them together with combo finisher in between with no downtime. Sky shatter also has very good stun damage.

So I did some damage test with glass cannon and with combo booster(or random damage sigil it doesn't mattr)) It looks like if you can maintain dps, combo booster is just the better option due to the utility of not being dizzy on tap. Glass cannon is "ok" but the downside of getting tapped (in a game that throws out AOE like candy) is a bit too high for the negligable DPS increase.(less than 10%). Edit: Also stout heart is just KING for any build. Current build is: >Awakening sigil >War Elemental >Damage cap x 4 >Supp Damage x 3 >Tyranny >Critical Hit / Stamina >Stout heart. Only two things you need for sure are potion hoarder and steel nerves, everything else is w/e you want. (cooldown, guts, etc.)

My issue with glass cannon is I feel it doesn’t really add 30% damage to yoda. My combo finishers go from 194k to 206k. I keep it on because I like t challenge myself to not get touched(entirely possible with yoda) and figured I’ll just take the free extra damage if not. But does anyone else feel like the damage from glass cannon doesn’t really scale with him well ?

Tho his finisher provide immunity its far from immortal. Overall window so tiny, so you need to use at in same way as for perfect dodge and perfect block, which is not easy to do. Beside you need to chain you normal attack to this timing, which is way harder then it sound.

No it’s definitely immortal. You get the invincible buff which is total immunity to damage. Also, the window is longer than perfect dodge/block when fully upgraded and the fact that you get it every combo finisher which he does more and more often as you combo means it’s active a lot.

You can cancel it into a dodge and keep the combo going. And if you activate s from dodge you can just focus on attacking. When the icon starts flashing get ready to pop another skill if you don’t have an easy dodge coming up. Such as tit for tat or mirror image or flashing void

The problem with dmg cap is that it doesn’t take only 4 slots.. The sigils everyone is using and recommends like Glass Cannon, Supp dmg and even War Elemental, again, all revolve around dmg cap, raising it, giving additional hits on top or giving extra superior dmg That is already 9 out of 12 slots that are all used just to get over the dmg cap somehow Then you use Crit Rate and the Awakening Sigil and you have a whole 1 slot to be creative with Riveting If they removed the dmg cap and adjusted the values, sigils like combo booster/finisher, charge attack sigils, skilled assault etc. would immediatelly gain a lot of value and the builds would be more diverse depending on the character

Idk if he's slept on I think he needs an overhaul to the design. The duration it takes to build combo points and use them feels like an eternity. It's overly simple spam x/square wait for flip finisher then expend the points and start over? It feels clunky I feel like the y counter should offer s and grant cp baseline it's risky and I still get hit most times after the counter triggers and dashes in. He lifts himself in the air while attacking which makes performing abilities impossible? Maybe it's the timing? I'm bad? It just fails to initiate. The finisher could use a slight extension movement forward at the end stopping on collision. Maybe I'm playing him wrong it'd be nice to choose when to consume cps as a mechanic so I can dash mid build up without ruining progress. I like control and it feels like he doesn't have it. His omnislash tho dam, easily my favorite ability in the game. Nice guide tho my man makes me want to try him again.

yup hes middle of the pack character. not good not bad. In the right situation if the team has someone with glaciate or something he can ramp up and do insane dps but thats almost never going to happen. they need to remove 1 combo from the chain or something. The initial X combo takes too long imo.

He's way smoother late game. His unique sigil gives 75% to maintain the stack after using a skill. This plus spamming low cd skills like awakening and the jumping slash allows you to gain 3 stacks, unless you are unlucky. Don't forget to use combo finisher after any damage skill, these combo finishers counts towards the shortening of combo, so if you used 4 skills in a chain, with combo finishers in between, you'll do the 1 press combo finisher (unlikely to happen but something to keep in mind). Even just using awakening to jumpstart the combo shortening is worth spamming it, unless you have a big skill coming off CD.

So....here's the thing. Endgame you have really low cooldowns because of cascade and supplemental ticks, meaning that you can constantly refresh and use your skills. EACH skill goes into finisher, including his dash, so you can have a constant finisher spam and a constant lvl 3 skill with his awakening. If you really can't hit the finisher just wait until you see it on the bar say "COMBO FINISHER"

You think it takes a long time to build marks? Try playing Vaseraga to know what slow resource generation really is. Yoda’s is pretty fast and it gets faster the more combo finishers you do in a row. And you can use pretty much any damage dealing skill or link attack to chain into a finisher to get the finisher chain rolling and easily skip the earlier longer combos.

Is it just me or this man hacked the game. Given all the characters he got maxed out, Supp damage V+ is like 0.07% chance to get it, and he even got it with a nice secondary trait. Tyranny + Aegis? Naah..

Some of you know too much about this game so quickly. I suspect that GBFR devs sent their guide (or info was leaked) and that's how you know all of these hidden details that most people would only know with a published strategy guide. Some youtubers get to play the games during early acess or beta stages so some people probably already had stuff figured out frm that or maybe the mechanics are the same with the other granblue games. I appreciate the help but I grew up gaming since 1986, we can buy early access, why is the game being given away to the gatekeepers with huge channels though?
