So excited to get into the game! I was inspired to play this one after finishing Toukiden and God Eater. At first MH looks kinda... scary to learn? But I think I'll get the hang of it unlike most other games.

I just want to play the entire thing coop easily no having to do quests separately etc

I actually used insect glaive in mhw and wanted to try something new so I went with long sword and I absolutely love the long sword I tried it in world and I feel like it was to complex at the time but in rise it’s fun it’s def a good little learning curve

I’m definitely not an expert, but I actually found the bow to be one of the harder weapons I tried. Maybe it’s easier on mouse and keyboard, but on a controller I felt like I was giving myself carpal tunnel, while also dealing almost no damage.

I feel like your underselling how good zora stuff is (i think its the best set of weapons in the game) its not hard to be wet basically all the time with water items, sidon, and the constant rain. you will kill literally everything in the game before you dry off one time. the zora sword is (when wet) base 24 and can reach upto 40 with a modifier then doubles anything fused to it, so a lynel horn will make the sword a 150. (being a one handed ato makes it better than the other 2 even if they have better power.) stronger than gerudo gear and more durable

Long Sword medium tier? dual blades don't do a lot of damage? Ya, I don't think I need to watch this video any further. Also what's with this craze about charge blade being so hard? I picked it up and it's like one of the most easiest and broken weapons to use. The mirco managing isn't hard to do, it's more tedious than anything. The counter is super easy to do compared to Long Sword. The fact that people think charge blade is somehow harder than Long Sword is Wild. Ain't no way mastering Iai slash and foresight slash is medium tier.

Half-orcs are nuts. Did a half orc barbarian and I’m doing 60 damage plus per crit at only level 5. Not only that but with my barbarian feats I can make 2 hits per attack and get a free throw plus advantage on all my hits even with great weapons master activated. I’m absolutely decimating enemies. The intimidation checks with barbarian and the half orc also are just extremely fun my character is an asshole

no underwata tho. 1/10 the underwater element really added a lot to the world feel of monster hunter, since before tri, water was just a dead barrier that made you feel like a dumbass. "cant go there idiot, this aint open world! hunters cant swim idiot!"

I never saw anyone complain about LS before World. And as fun as the weapon can be, I do wish we could go back to the old days. These m0ves should never have become part of the basic LS kit.

That helmet is quit distracting.

I don’t get why sns is always put as the “easiest”. Like the video said, it has a lot of options and if you use the wrong moves at the wrong time you will be bad. How is it easier than hammer for example? Hammer has a lot less moves and combos strings and is pretty hard to mess up.

I never got the hatred towards LS flinches when so many other weapons are worse, with charge blades and gunlances sending you flying and dual blade glailing being even worse
