What is your favorite movie scene that includes a Bow/Arrows/Quivers/whatever? Mine is hands down Boromir's death in Lord of the Rings, epic redemption of a man who lost his way but came back to the light, and tried his best to make things right.

You are correct to water the entire piece. If you don't you risk leaving large water spots in the areas you do get wet. It can also affect the pore consistency which will change the way the leather takes dye (learned all this from my mentor when I was working for Tandy Leather).

Absolutely gorgeous! Love these videos :) One tip I have is beware of cutting through paper and tape with leather tools a lot. It dulls them pretty quickly, and you may need to strop and sharpen them more frequently. Least this is the issue I've had before.
@Jeweled_and_tooled_customs3 жыл бұрын
Yes you need to dye, antique, oil and whatever before you burnish. Reason being is burnishing flattens and smushes those leather fibers and locks them in.
