How To Tune 2011-2019 6.7 Powerstroke With BDX Tuner And Install SOTF Switch

This was my first tuner for my 2018 F350, I ran my wire through the bottom half of the dash where the steering column is and mounted the tuner up by the air vent on the driver door side. That cable is kind of goofy but it will work and is flat enough to slip through the plastic up beside the steering wheel , then I put a 90 degree HDMI connector on the tuner so that the wire would sit flat off the back instead of stick up in the air on top of the tuner. I also used to do all of my updates Via WIFI and never had any issues with it. I just made sure I set the truck back to stock before doing any updates. Once I did that the tuner now only needs 1 key on and 1 key off. It used to need 3 or 4 during a tune cycle which is a pain in the butt. Now that I upgraded to an EZ Lynk I have that BDX I no longer need, maybe I will sell it to help cover some of the cost of the new tuner.

We just deleted our 2018 ram 6.7 nothing to crazy but man it's crazy the difference in performance we got the grid heater upgrade that you made a video about next we are putting in the thermal bypass for our transmission thanks for your videos keep them coming

You’re not the only unlucky one I had to drop my obd2 port and clip the plastic too lol. I got my tunes from Dyno Diesels I highly recommend you to check them out.

Only one thing I would correct for these tunes when adding the SOTF switch, is that you actually get one more tune in that file. You do get all five tunes with our dealer diesel dudes tunes package that we load for you. You get the following: 2011-2019 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke: 40hp. 80hp. 120hp. 150hp. 180hp. 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke does not have SOTF and you get the following tunes: 60hp. 100hp. 160hp. 250hp.

I have a 2013 Ford F-350 6.7. The instructions are telling me to wire in my twitch into the CAC sensor. I don’t know if this is correct or not. Just doesn’t make sense on why it tells me to wire it into my CAC sensor. Any feedback would be appreciated

What exactly is this delete,what effect does it have on a truck to make it known that the truck is deleted.Is this device also designed for the 2004 model.

A delete is removing the emission system off of your truck, a 2004 truck won’t have emissions because it’s too old. They didn’t start coming out until 2007. Go watch the video I posted a week or two ago called “what is a delete”

Soon; it really is with elements with the ECU and getting it unlocked and ensuring it does not mess with anything at all. It is much more complex than you could imagine.

I did the same install on my 2017F250 but the SOTF doesn't work. Are you supposed to keep the fuel sensor (wherre you spliced in) unplugged? I left mine plugged in

Well long periods of idling aren’t good for any engine but removing the emissions will definitely help your engine stay in good shape by keeping that oil cleaner

I got a rig truck cummins and i delete it back in 2019 and till this day i run my truck all day in pipeline job sometime i let it idle for 8hrs or maybe 10 when we got nothing to do and i have 0 problem the only engine givin me a headache is my SA20 lol

Let’s get this straight, that problem I had was a BDX (bully dog) issue, it had nothing to do with the diesel dudes. Additionally, they have never had one single complaint about the obd cable not fitting onto the obd plug so maybe it was just a one off situation.
