I used to play yugioh a lot in the past, even went to tournaments, my last deck was a darklord deck and with it I won 7th place in the country(it was when the rescue rabbit and tour guide came out). I am thinking about playing again, and was wondering how much would a darklord deck cost me to make in april 2020.

Now that condemned darklord is out I like running vanitys ruler over archlord krystia, and lock out my opponent while I can still special summon like crazy.

Up to personal preference, I guess. Normally, by the time I've played either of them, I've already swarmed my field, and cleared my opponents, with archlord/ruler just there to buy me another turn of free attacks.

Darklords are my favorite archetype. Nice profile I run darkwurm engine with infinity (by passes Ash blossoms), and dark armed dragon. Also 1 asmodeus and 1 United we stand lol

For my deck I actually cut out the Zerato, Tezc, and Amdusc, have 1 nasten, 2 uko, then I run 2 world legacy succession and few other combo pieces it feels a lot less bricky, ive ran many variations of darklords, that’s what works for me, but this profile is really good too

U still have to discard to add otherwise condemned would make darklord kinda broken. Also u can do play 3 of sanctified darklord making it possible to play triple ballhalla with triple krista so u have an auto flood gate with a switch so u can turn it on and off in ur turn and ur opponents turn superbia can revive any fairy monster making it possible to play triple athena for an ez otk with a morningstar dumping it onto the grave athena can give u another darlord with her effect making it ez to xyz spam onto ranks 8 where the cost is tribute so 2 of my good friend called diabolos lord of the lair are kinda ez to get since u just need to dump him ez with all the draw power u can have with ixchel trade in allure advance draw. U can even use this deck as an engine it all depends on people but i do think xyz spamming is way easier u just need a superbia and a fairy in the grave. Trickstar can be u want more draw? Tehis goddes of light ez to bring out not too ez to send to the grave. Also remember that zerato nukes board and is a 2800 beatstick wich can be used as an xyz matterial after the damage step before his effect completes itself u can also use number 23 with a setup sanctified and have 2 negates -3 negates if u have ixchel nasten amdusk or tezcatlipoca. Best part u have acces to all calamities so try not to bring ixchel from the grave u can only summon any 1 or more once per turn. For anyone trying to use it darklord is a good deck but it depends on what u can make the deck do not depend on being second and sniping handtraps
