Here's a video showing all the bosses from the Sonic 1, 2, 3&K remade. The last level was made by me, the first four were made by the user "Starfruity". She also has a KZbin Channel: / campbellsonic
So make sure to take a look at these levels as well as her channel. This level was made in Super Mario Maker 2 on the Nintendo Switch & all footage was recorded at 1080p & 60fps.

These are some pretty faithful recreations! I was able to recognize nearly every boss when it was onscreen by appearance alone, that's how good these look. The difficulty seems a bit varied though. Some of these bosses are MUCH more difficult or complex in Mario than they EVER were in the original, not that that's a bad thing. But others absolutely flew by. bosses that were a pain in my stinger in the OG Sonic game whizzed by without a second thought in this, and i'm just left saying, "Really?" (with a chuckle, of course. I don't hate any part of this.) Overall, this is adorable! This is one of the greatest things I have ever seen, and I've seen a lot despite my need for glasses! And to the level creator: I can't wait to see what you do for Sonic CD! (If you finish it, that is. Don't push yourself, man.) Sorry for this long comment! EDIT: Spelling corrections.

since everyone is in love with the Red eyes fight (for VERY good reason, that was fantastically done), I'm just going to talk about the S&K final bosses, (25:51) and (26:58). there are clever work arounds and then there are good boss fights. these bosses are both. have wonderful mechanics that provide the challenge of both final bosses and remain faithful to the final bosses, from how laser beams are used with the death egg robot to how red coins are used to fight in Doomsday Zone, I even like the little end flourishes. beautifully done!
