Knack is one of those games, I didn't plan to play, until my nephew and my brother, played it on MY account. I decided I might as well finish the game, and picked it up. The majority of this game's problems, could've been fixed by nerfing the damage the enemies and environment, do to you. If small knack could take more, than two hits, this game could have been passable. He'd need to be able to at least take 5-6 hits, for it to be somewhat fair. And obviously increasing health-bar, more hits, maybe you're unable to re-absorb relics, until enemies have been beaten, or doing so mid-battle, makes you vulnerable. Knack has a potentially interesting world, with the Goblins having genuine gripes, with being pushed out of their cities, and off into the wilderness. You perfectly outlined my own issues with the villains too, and the mismatched story, really doesn't help. Like Gundahar could've been a sympathetic villain, who just wants to reclaim the goblin homeland, and not wipe out humanity. And Viktor only had to ASK for help, and stop kidnapping or trying to kill knack and his friends. But let his drive for progress, ignore the warnings about the danger of the relics. =/ Good review, not a good game, fun Mr. Clipboard voice, arguing on your phone.

Just play the wonderful 101, it's knack but well made. Instead of relics, you collect superheroes who join to your team to be more powerful. You can use those super heroes to make a giant fist, sword,gun, swip, shield etc... In order to figh bigger enemies (wich is a lot of fun) And it's a platinum game.

I think this was originally going to be a sequel to Crash Mind Over Mutant. Boy am I glad we got the N Sane Trilogy for Crash Bandicoot instead. If they made another brawler Crash game it would have made the franchise sink lower to where the remakes probably wouldn't have even saved it. So instead Knack takes the bullet and Crash returns from the grave. Oh wait they are making a sequel to Knack. Shit. But hey at least Crash Bandicoot is back.

Highlights: Everything kills Knack in two hits. Not kidding. Knack's downgrades. They do nothing. Jadow describing the character's lack of personalities and hating the main characters. (Can't blame him) A wish for a "bad" ending. "STOP TRYING TO KILL THE PEOPLE WHO ARE TRYING TO HELP YOU! STUPID!" The doctor decides to take his wife on a cave know to be dangerous. Him talking about Charlotte and how she fails. Somehow Charlotte may be stupider than EVERYONE in Knack 2. Trust me... Mecha Sauron. "And the game laughs in your face."

Thanks for uploading this review. Finally someone made review for this one of the worst PS4 exclusives (most people think that PS4 has the best exclusives but it is of course not true, to be honest I don't favor any platform although I'm PC player). I think Godzilla is also worth to look (it was ported to PS4 from PS3), but please don't make Onechanbara Z2: Chaos review because: first: it is not exclusive anymore since Tamsoft released this game on Steam in 2016, second: it is not bad game despite of very stupid basic story and cheasy anime style, third: Onechanbara series has gained mixed recepted reputation since first game of the series (Zombie Zone for PS2 released in 2004) therefore it make no sense (Tamsoft did not change much things since first Onechanbara game).

The only good thing I can say about it is, the cutscene graphics don't look half bad. If I squinted a lot, looked at it from a few miles away, and was drunk, they might sort of look like something from Blizzard.

Maybe it's because I don't talk to many people in real life, but I've never heard someone use "Zimbabwe" as a term of anger. That's a new one. Anyway, great review. The idea of a character who can absorb objects to get stronger sounds like an amazing idea, but the game does NOT live up to that potential.

Dustin Jackson The whole "Zimbabwe" thing comes from a local radio talk show. They place bets on who will win games during Football season and the person who loses each week gets shot in the ass with a BB gun. They don't have anyone to bleep it out if they swear, so one guy yelled "ZIMBABWE!" when he got shot. That just stuck in my head. And thanks! This game had lots of potential, and was too lazy to use it.

I plan on doing Knack 2 at some point, but I've heard from trusted sources that it's barely an improvement on the first game and it's very long, so it'd be another painfully extended boring experience. I want to do it... I'm just putting it off as long as possible. Plus it's not at the library, so I'd have to pay for it.

This kind of reminds me of the debacle of how the guy who wrote Empress Theresa went through the Internet to argue with every person who gave his book a bad review (every reviewer in other words), giving weak points that were easily dismissed. It seems like someone in Sony viewed Knack as their magnum opus and just had to counter every criticism to soothe their fragile ego.

I worry about copyright claims, but I don't worry about copyright takedowns. Unless you repost super lengthy or a lot of clips from a movie or show you're pretty much safe from takedowns. Hell, Iron Man Rise of Technovore didn't get taken down. Claims for using clips are harder to predict, but if you keep them short enough they're relatively safe. The claims I got for Rise of Technovore are for sections of the video where I don't cut the film's footage and leave a several-seconds long clip intact.
