I’ve honestly felt like Xemnas was to Sora and Roxas what Ansem was to Riku. Out of all Xehanorts, Xemnas has done more to Sora directly and has the most developed hero/villain relationship with him.

That would make more sense if you don’t factor in the fact that Master Xehanort is. “Regained sense of self” or not; all these variations of Xehanort are still; in the end; just an extension of Master Xehanort himself. Master Xehanort’s actions lead to the creation of TerraNort; Ansem, and Xemnas; and all the destruction that they directly brought to Sora and his friends. Factor in Master Xehanort himself personally killing Kairi in front of Sora; and all the damage his other selves caused; and it’s clear that Master Xehanort was Sora’s ultimate nemesis. That is literally the entire point of Kingdom Hearts 3 and the dark seeker saga up to this point. But I still love Xemnas too; he truly was a close second to Master Xehanort’s first in terms of “Sora’s ultimate nemesis factor,” I’ll at least give you that.

@@Erikthedoodyeah but no matter what it all started with Ansem sod don’t care if this is a Xemnas video Xemnas is my favorite villain but no matter what in truth it’s Ansem Ansem is after all the main split nort of xehanort he is his main essence after all Aka xehanort reduced to just a heart where xehanort had been the whole time Aka his heartless half after all he is THE NORT this is why Ansem maintains xehanort spitting image but in his prime after taking riku body and is the only nort to time travel back to his youth and is the only nort to being wearing the old coots clothing. But yes Xemnas still is the best developed villain I’ll give you that and this video was probably is the best tribute to that.

@@Erikthedood dude, Sora didn’t even meet master xehanort until the ending of 3, and xehanort himself barely cares about Sora. He referred to him as “dull and ordinary”. Nah, xemnas was Sora’s enemy way more than the old dude. Xehanort was the bbs trios enemy if anything.

@@octaviomaiani5624 Not a bother at all. The first track used is "L'Oscurità dell'Ignoto" from Dream Drop Distance. However, within the first 10 seconds, it's a combination of both the track mentioned, as well as "L'Oscurità dell'Ignoto -Xemnas" from Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind.

This video is not getting enough views. Your editing of all the versions of Darkness of the Unknown as well as your editing on these cutscenes was creatively put together. I love how you try to explain Xemnas's timeline through these cutscenes; made it that Xemnas traveled to the future after being defeat by Sora, Riku, Donald, and Goofy, then returning to the past after his defeat in Kingdom Hearts 3 to fight his final 3 phased fight against Sora and Riku. Well done.

I just noticed that the cutscenes are edited in actual chronological order. I also noticed that your point of Xemnas being moved forward in time by YX is the same as my headcanon! Always thought that would be the perfect time to be whisked away into the future.

The music combined with the video hurts so perfectly at 7:37 From this point, it's like Xemnas knows what's about to happen : he will lose against Sora again, and return at KH2 and fight Sora and Riku, but cuz it's after his defeat in KH3, he knows he'll lose That's why he took Kairi, to take something Sora cherish, and not being the only one who's losing And it's even more sad at 10:03, the saddest theme of Xemnas I think, but so dawn good (sorry if it's hard to understand I'm French so I'm not sure if my English is good enough to be clear)

Yeah but he won’t remember he’s going to lose in KH2 or in KH 3 because what happens in the future all the memories gets erased now maybe it’s etched in his heart as young xehanort says But not the memories that actually gets erased back to zero other wise that would make a paradox Xemnas would just be mouthing of what’s happening in the future to sora and gang making a fatal paradox. Hell same for there actual young self xehanort just think if young xehanort maintained these memories knowing of what he would become a crazy old man in a another men’s body then split himself spending years reduced to just a heart Aka Ansem yeah he truly would try to avoid that fate because you really think him knowing it you really think he would want to suffer going through that again NOPE I think not He truly would be having second thoughts badly.

My headcanon is that YX yoinked Xemnas from right after his fight against Sora alone, then Xemnas got the armor right before being sent back for final fights

The reason I didn't include A Fight to the Death, along with other Xemnas themes like Disappeared, is because I wanted this medley to focus on Darkness of the Unknown and its other arrangements. I prefer these medleys to use songs that share a leitmotif for smoother transitions, but thanks for asking!

Thank you for asking! It's actually both those tracks together, but then at 5:38, they transition to Forza Finale. Editing these three songs together was easily the toughest part when creating this medley, but definitely worth it.

It’s really more like Ansem and Xemnas are the heartless and nobody of Terra AND Xehanort; but specifically Xehanort possessing Terra’s body. Other than influenced appearance and maybe memory fragments, there is no “Terra” inside Ansem and Xemnas. Terra is really in the guardian up until KH3. But I get what you mean lol.

@@hiimyasineuw7247 also remember in Remind Master Xehanort said; “Ansem and Xemnas originated from Terra; or rather, his young form; and it too, was restored. However; my heart has returned to me; while his is yet lost. I decided to fill this hollow vessel with my heart. Indeed; the very same heart that previously resided within Young Terra.” So what he means there is that TerraNort was more “Xehanort” than he was Terra. The heart that Xehanort put into Terra creating TerraNort cast Terra’s heart out of his body and into darkness. So while you’re technically right that Ansem and Xemnas do have a part of Terra inside them, because Xehanort possessed Terra’s body creating TerraNort; TerraNort and by proxy, Ansem and Xemnas, his heartless and nobody, are really more of an extension of Xehanort himself and not really Terra’s, inside the hollow shell that used to be Terra’s body at that point. Terra himself never created a heartless or a nobody; but Xehanort possessing his body did. So in that sense, Terra never truly had a real Heartless and Nobody, but when Xehanort took his body for himself, that version of him did. Hopefully that makes sense in the way I explained it and makes the true nature of their connection more clear for you.

@@Erikthedood exactly right 👍 this will be a long comment so bare with me the big gave away was xehanort heartless it was always xehanort heartless as The main half of the man Ansem seeker of darkness the dude is literally just xehanort with out his original form and why he’s the only nort to have the clothing of xehanort not to mention the voice actor and his speaking lines it to was a big give away. As they say the heartless is the original main essence of the person while the body goes on as something else with some memories intact of the original person I can see why Numora only gave Ansem a sort of keyblade that kinda works LIKE NO NAME!!!!. Anyway I never believe that xehanort and Terra hearts fused together like everybody thought everybody should have known better with Xehanort remark eraqus you slay fox! meaning eraqus already beat Xehanort to it of really possessing Terra essence completely!. Now Here is a theory about people complaining about when did Terra end up as the guardian I believe this happened when xehanort split himself a second time and after that well it would explain who actual got the main property dispute as xehanort said in blank points and as we see with our own eyes with Ansem get up imaged and who it’s based on after expelling riku in KH1 from it yup. There you go Not to mention the robe 👘 men looked like he was hunching over a bit kinda like xehanort does Don’t you think!!? Not to mention the time travel back to young xehanort!!. I would also like to point out to further your comment that Ansem and xemnas they truly where more of xehanort existence thanks to the prequel dark road where we learned xehanort had actual friends then lost them then went on his dark road then during the final battle of kingdom heart 3 let me make this clear at first I used to think Ansem and xemnas where very inconsistent along with Xehanort because I always thought norty was just evil evil evil and thought KH3 ending with Xehanort was BULLCRAP 🤯😤🤬but but with the xehanort dark prequel explanation not anymore.🙂 Here’s the example connections of xehanort to Ansem and xemnas that they truly where his essences Ansem even after being betrayed he felt like he did not care Ansem the main essence of xehanort is literally young xehanort just not giving a crap and going on his dark road and finally finding at the end one who strength was more then just darkness Ansem but really by extension is xehanort realizing this in riku by his end That his complete selfs ends up realizing at the end of KH3 in his friend Master Eraqus. Xemnas after losing his comrades felt loneliness and now feels like he has nothing xemnas the new being of Xehanort essence Aka his phantom is literally just a repeat of young xehanort feeling empty when losing his friends in dark road oh the irony and then he by extension His actual self xehanort finally had closure to knowing pain of loss is actually being human. So yeah they really were him all along what xehanort did to Terra was overweight Terra body existence and boot him out of it after The fact to being a left over shadow after the second split and keyblade armor in BBS while xehanort new body and the two half’s split was truly his. Even through they originated from Terra or rather his younger self Aka the possessed body husk as xehanort puts it But they are still xehanorts own essences of continuation and Xehanort pretty much references this to by saying my essence If I remember correctly In remind. Ps as an update just found out about the player and xehanort thing and it looks like numora was taking the Kojima pills LMFAO 🤣
