I listen to pretty much all of them and I'd say DP and Let's Read are hands down the two best. The thing that makes DP the best IMO is his stories are mostly viewer submitted originals and not just scraped from Reddit, which a majority of the other narrators do.

If you go hiking and camping always be prepared for the worst. Be prepared for bear to psychopaths. Set up noise traps around your campsite or cabin. ALWAYS ALWAYS trust your gut feeling and DO NOT DISMISS IT. Always stay vigilant . For me the scariest things in the wilderness is not the animals. I've ran into a couple of bad guys one day hunting. I trusted that gut feeling and did not allow them to get too close and one did try to flank me. Thankfully they didn't try too hard because they saw i didn't have to do much to stop them and i would have. I had a bad feeling about them as soon as i saw them at a distance. My safety was off ,finger on the trigger and only a few inches to filp my shotgun at a target beforet they even got close. As soon as i was able i left and went straight to the property owner and told him. He called the police and game warden because that wasn't the first time he heard about them and they did not have permission to be on his property. What made it worse is my young son was with me.

A 45-70 may not have as many shots as an AR-15, but I'd take the 45-70 any day over the AR. It has a lot more stopping power than the AR ever even thought about. They don't call them elephant guns for nothin', lol. If you had good aim back in the day one shot would take down a charging bull elephant and those things are a lot larger and more powerful than any supposed ape-man. It is also the same size cartridge that was used in the original gatling guns. I know because I have fired both...the carbine and the gatling. Having used to be a reenactor many years ago, I had a friend who owned an original gatling gun that had actually been used during the siege of Vicksburg in the civil war. In fact, its serial number was 006. It took 40 round magazines that gravity fed into it as you cranked the handle and a proper crew for it was 4 men. One on each wheel to turn the piece, one to crank the handle and one fetching and changing out magazines. As you crank the handle one man holds his wheel still while the other turns his wheel making the gun "sweep" the field. Then the latter holds his wheel still while the former turns his to make it sweep back again. With a good crew one can fire off 250 rounds per minute which, when it was new was an unheard of rate of fire. The single shot rolling block carbine that I fired takes a stout man to fire it as it has enough kick to knock you flat on your butt if you aren't ready for it...ask me how I know, LOL!

Lake Monroe is a lovely place to go camping. My friends and I used to go there most weekends in the summer when I was in my 30's. My friends lived very close to the area in a small unincorporated town called Heltonville, just to the east of Bedford, Indiana. I lived in Salem, IN at the time. Weirdest thing I ever saw there was a giant walking stick insect about a foot long.

I went camping recently on Mount Rainier, I went on a night hike along the river. Going ahead of my family I heard a growl coming from the bushes around me, I put my stick into defensive position and backed away not turning my back. I told my family we needed to turn around. The next morning I went back around the area and found this big humanlike footprint and hand print in the sand near that area. I took pictures of them with my hand/foot next to it for size. The hand was about double the size of my hand and the foot twice as wide but only a few inches longer. Not sure what it could be as we also saw a light coming from that side, though the light would go about 20' up so it's doubtful it was a human controlling it

Stop going there. Don't ever go back, even in the daytime. These creatures are getting bolder & bolder , and more people are going missing, to never be seen again, not even their bones. These are interdimensional creatures. They cannot be taken out, even with firearms. You need to avoid the area completely. And you could take what I'm saying seriously, or not, if not, you will really regret it. I promise you that.

PS. I am so sorry for Ben. That there are parents out there like that. They rather see their own child dead than truly be themselves. That is true horror. Also I think I would feel differently about my spouse if he refused to believe me if I had a close call with a Bigfoot. It means they don’t know or trust you at all.

Thanks for your stories, and for the warnings. We all need to be aware of our surroundings, no matter what. It's always wiser to be cautious than play the hero and end up in deeep trouble! Also, thank you for the "Heads Up" advisory about violence to pets. I abhor cruelty to any living creature, yet somehow trusting children and pets being abused, etc. really gets to me. Nobody needs to get upset with me for this, please, I don't like it when people of any age or gender get hurt, either. I just appreciate the uploader's consideration in letting us know up front.

🤣 I am dying!!! The Wendigo is an Ojibwa and Cree Legend, wtf is it doing in Kansas!!! 😂 I am a Lakota that grew up and spent most of my life in South Dakota, my Mom is from Cheyenne River to the Northwest of South Dakota and my Dad is from the Oglala to the Southwest or as we call it here in South Dakota, West River. 😂 There are NO Bison roaming free in the Badlands, they are all kept in the Custer State Park and that is MILES Southwest of the Badlands. Also, There are more Domesticated Dogs that have turned Wild and are running around the Oglala Reservation, then there are Coyotes...and we don't ever call Bigfoot, Sasquatch. This is unbelievably hilarious, especially when someone writes a work of fiction and they don't do any research!

I don’t believe the cabin/Ben’s dad story one bit. First, how long was the mom gone if the kids watched an entire season of some anime show and went to bed? Also, why would Ben’s dad, with a rifle, kick the door down? He could’ve easily broken a window or shot through the windows or door. Also, why would he want to kill all of the kids? Maybe his son, which is wrong, but doesn’t make any sense about everyone else. I dunno…if it’s true it’s weird, if not then could’ve been better written. I also have issues with the 15 year old hunter/Bigfoot story. First, why would the parents let a 15 year old go out hunting all night by themselves? Also, I seriously doubt a 15 year old is shooting a 45-70. Plus it’s funny that the person now uses an AR15 because of magazine capacity, when literally every caliber an AR15 can shoot, except maybe 450 Bushmaster, is weaker than a 45-70…also funny the person is worried about magazine capacity when they literally shot one round at the Bigfoot…why not shoot the other 6 rounds? I’m calling BS on that one.

Whenever I hear that someone "sprang to their feet" I think of the "night before Christmas story" Ya know, 'sprang to his feet, put on his sash.' The classic book? No shade on the story, but who is even "springing to their feet" these days? Hehehehe. ❤❤❤😂😂😂
@charlesbennett7484
@charlesbennett7484 11 ай бұрын
Would you rather they say they "jumped" to their feet? Or they "leapt" to their feet? People DO still say "sprang", "sprung", or "spring" to descride the act of jumping, you know. "I sprang into to action", "a spring in his step", etc. It's not that weird of an thing to say nor is it that old of an expression.

14:44 This story seems incredibly made up. "My Dad isn't supportive of my life choices so he's a horrible monster and I'll shame him by making a few sheckals on a spooky KZbin channel". Is it impossible? No. Is it incredibly unlikely? Yes. Bin needs to understand he's made a pretty not good choice and his father is understandably upset.

Really, a man learns his son is gay, so to force him to be a “ normal “ man, like his father, he grabs his gun, stalks a child’s birthday party, in his underwear, and prepares to murder six children, who happen to know his son! Yeah that sounds understandable to me. What kind of a twisted mind do you have, weirdo.
