Story Three reminds me of a Spanish story of two men walking home after stopping at a bar. They both saw a man in the bar they stopped at nightly after work. In the Spanish story the man showed up behind them as they were walking home and began telling each man things about their life he couldn’t possibly know just as in story Three… As they continued walking they suddenly smell of sulfur and hear the sound of hoof steps next to them. They two friends look down at the man’s feet and notice he has hooves instead of feet, and the man’s face changes from a person to a demons face… This is when they realize it was a demon who was talking to them and they begin running home as FAST as they can…. It is a truly scary story!

Remember when every story the forest went quiet? Now every story “my blood runs cold” just wanted to point that out. But darkness I love your content as always and thank you for all of the work you put in to share these wonderfully dark stories with us all.

"It sent shivers down my spine" But that's not people's fault, actually. English (and many other languages) seems to lack a big quantity of serious horror expressions. It's either shivers, blood running cold, wenting pale, heart stopping or freezing. I may be forgetting some, but you get the idea...it's not that much and will repeat a lot. Other than these and their variations, there are only jokeful expressions like the hibbie jibbies.

It's not unusual for stories that are in the same genre to have some commonality between them and if you're in the woods and a predator is around it does go silent so it makes sense to me

NEVER Ignore your inner caution warning you something is NOT right! SECOND don’t stop, keep driving till you get a signal then call Highway Patrol and tell them about the “stranded motorists who may need help.” Unfortunately in the times we live in, it’s best to air on the side of Caution, getting them help is SAFER than a person all alone stopping to help a stranger in the middle of nowhere!

Similar to story #2 it was July 2017 my mom aunt and me went to Southern California from eastern Oregon to visit their dying aunt. On the way back in Nevada we were in this deserted highway didn’t see any cars for awhile. Anyway we were all talking keeping each other company. It was around 2am when all of a sudden we all see something standing by the road, 13:26 mind you the moon was bright. So you could see pretty well. We went silent for a few minutes when all of a sudden we were all like wtf was that. It looked like a giant coyote standing upright moving. I don’t think we were scared cause we were in disbelief

The 3 incidents with highway patrol in the rain are really creepy... Obviously other people saw these things as well but didn't wait around... I'm guessing at first glance everything appeared like reality but on closer inspection, NOPE.... I'm so curious about what was the reason behind these sightings... Are they scenes from the past just playing out when the weather is right, folks trapped in this never ending drama scene from times long ago?!! There must not have been a dash cam or if there was nothing shown up on video... If I was the one who witnessed these instances id be extremely grateful to know that there were other people who were given a front row seat cause if not I'd be wondering if I was losing it!! The story with the hitchhiker was really good... I can't believe they all asked, "how do you know these things" and "who are you".... Once he started spewing out their dirty laundry i thought, "whrut wro Shaggy"!! Lol... Thx to all for sharing ur stories... Great narration as per usual... Be safe everyone 🙃🩷🩵

About the "Hitchhiker" story: relish on human misery? The thing just gave them all the realities that they needed to improve as human beings and move on their lives. I wouldn't be surprised if that thing was an Angel (I think it's a demon, demons can sometime risk their own agenda giving people what they need to improve spiritualy, in hopes they'll crack and become bad people). If reality is troubling you, you must fight it by adapting through it, not reject it and say that it's not real.
@edi98922 ай бұрын
I thought of a demon. It's not just relishing in the pain and chaos, but also pulling down that facade we humans love to put up... He gave people a chance to repent, but mostly he caused chaos.
@thallescastellani3172 ай бұрын
@@edi9892 Well, I agree, but I also really do think that an angel would act in a very similar way. Not all that sarcastic and cynic, but would throw hurtful truths at them. The cheater, for example, he NEEDED such an approach to improve himself.
