In this episode of Deep Dot Darknet I answer 3 questions that people have sent me:

I know im a year late but this content is solid and informed. I hear oregon is reneg'n on the legalization tho..people went waaay too hard on everything and now the state is regrettin it. Its like this is why we cant have nice things :-/ I like the part where he said the gov just wants their cut. Just like a politican huh? I would point out that it doesn't matter. People are doing drugs in every state. The issue is that there is money to be made in locking people up, or issuing fines - when there is no actual victum, or property damange (i.e. no reason to have to 'pay back' anything). Even cannabis legalization is a joke, the government is far more criminal than those trafficking drugs.I don't need a licence for a tomato plant and there is no limit to how many I can grow, there is with cannabis. If I buy 'illegal' cannabis on the darknet it costs about 80% less, and I'm not limited to X amount per sale, like I am in a legal state. Fuck them, and there 'leglized drugs'. The real criminals are in the government.

I have a question: what would you say the #1 thing people don't understand about the selling drugs? What is it that most people get totally wrong or totally backwards, when they imagine the life of someone moving a lot of weight (or a darknet vendor for that matter)? Oh, also: how concerned were you about violence, at that level of the drug market? I personally witnessed violence, when I was still using, it really scared me away from trying to get involved in sales. I saw bad things happen over a missing $40. Did you have much concern keeping yourself secure not from LEO, but from other people in the black market?

Great point look up: Stefan Molyneux The Story of Your Enslavement on youtube. In the US we have a tax farm - where the government takes the labor of the people by force in the form of taxes. Like all farmers, infrastructure and services are provided to the livestock in turn for better and more profitable returns, in the same way a farmer will space his corn to increase it's yield.

Asking will darknet vendors go away is like asking will supply and demand go away. Darknet vendors is your street hustlers but in the digital world. Technology democratized access to a lot of different things. Years before girls online sold access to live shows. These days we have onlyfans. In fact it would not surprise me if some vendors housed their shops on Shopify or Etsy. If there is a demand for something, I'm sure it will find a way.

while im absolutely not an expert, i do know that "decriminalized" and "legalized" are definitely not the same thing. my understanding is if you're caught, and the amount is small enough/you're not intending to distribute, you're put through an addiction program instead of getting a criminal record, something i enthusiastically support. im less certain on this, but isn't weed regulated and falls under the ATF?

In most large states, you're going an addiction program no matter what, if you're on probation and your charges are drug related. Usually, anyone can request to be referred to drug treatment (ie, your conviction is for burglary, but you tell the court you committed the crime to feed your addiction), and it can sometimes help reduce your sentence, depending. In federal prison, most inmates are pushed into completing a substance abuse education class, but it's considered a mickey mouse class. Federally, weed is considered a schedule i drug. That puts it in the same legal class as meth and heroin. The ATF does not typically investigate any drug crime, Marijuana sales included. Marijuana is not regulated or controlled by the ATF. However, whoever _is_ investigating the drug crime (local LEO, FBI, DEA, DHS, CBP) will sometimes partner with the ATF. For example, the FBI might be investigating a cartel trafficking drugs, and the ATF partners with them because the same group is moving illegal firearms, and the FBI wants the assistance of the ATF there. ...or, they just want to slam you with extra charges in the event you had a gun in your possession while selling Marijuana. Some places have a policy that 'guns and drugs go together,' where having a firearm and any amount of an illegal substance will get time added to your sentence (called an 'enhancement'). In most courts, you can be given a special guns/drugs combo sentence far larger than the two separate sentences combined. Federal charges have special sentences for drugs/ guns combo, many states have special gun/drug sentences. So maybe the investigation will be an FBI investigation on Marijuana trafficking interstate, but, there might be an ATF agent on the task force.

Yes your right. I am not sure about the ATF though, I would think it would be the DEA. That said with the feds they can basically make w/e agency they want check it out for w/e reason. Out of all of them, the IRS is probably the worst and the most ruthless. Hahaha
