Great idea but I’d suggest also to propose a design that allow to create a localized test strip where the paper slides across the test strip printer

It's a good idea, but immediately put a lot of constrains how paper should look like. In general i have prototype for that, but it's less practical.

The tester looks cool; I am sure yours must be the only new test printer design in the last couple of decades! As you know, a design is all about compromises. So here are some of my points that may interest you. First, I think you should not worry so much about the height of the test printer, since the objective is to measure exposure and color balance. Second, most darkroom tools were designed at a time when materials were very cheap, which is not the case nowadays. I think old test printers assume a sheet of 8x10, and taking current prices into consideration, maybe the tester could be a bit smaller, or with fewer strips? Look at the size of your own test prints. Lastly, I would consider beefing up the base a bit, making it thicker, simpler to design, and more stable. In my opinion, it would also make it easier to scale and give you extra design options. You could cleverly use magnets in the base to, for example, catch the sliding doors, etc. This is just a preference, but I prefer the hinge design. Anyways, I think it can only get better from here. Keep it up!

Hi Aleksandr, is the project of the test printer v1 updated? i would buy on your ko-fi page. Do you think would it be possible to use it without the bottom part (where you insert the paper strip) just putting it on the sheet?thanks

At the moment it's on "hobby development level", because i can't find enough support to keep my interest in that. On ko-fi i have design with fixed some problems. Probably i'll get back to it later.
