I'm thinking that if they could give us the option to play our own mp3's or stream radio in the same way that Euro Truck Simulator 2 did, then that would be a cost effective way of solving this issue for gamers with this same gripe. While the music they have selected is not terrible, it just doesn't suit the vibe of a group of mad bikers engaging in extreme violence out on the streets. This is all action. It should have music to reflect that in the same way the Carmageddon games do. Love everything else they've done however.

Really hoping the soundtrack will be better or at the very least, you will be allowed to import a soundtrack. Doesn't feel the same without, "MEAN MACHINE! MEAN MACHINE!" blasting. Regardless, gameplay looks spot on. I already bought this game, just need to play it now.

Wow... I was a little concerned early on with what I presumed would be the gameplay mechanics but that really just looks great. You guys are right on track for something I think a lot of people have been missing and taking it in the right direction.

I am SO SOLD on this game (buying it for Wii U all the way)! Road Rash 64 is one of my all time favorites and this game perfectly recaptures the spirit of that gem. Loving the dynamite weapon and crash physics when thrown from the bike. Cannot wait to see what is up with the tornado at the end. Much like Mighty No. 9 replacing Mega Man, I am so happy that the independent scene (Dark Seas Games in this case) is stepping up to fill in for the classics (Road Rash) when the big traditional publishers give the fans the middle finger. Thank you so much for making this and can't wait to play it!

dont know about the games soundtrack, but this music is really not fitting. Road Rash's soundtrack was amazing. And the +20 points seem very arbitrary, just obtrusive to be honest. What matters is that you win right? Would be really nice to have that as a toggleable option, same with blood and gore.

Road Rash was one of my favorite games when I was young and now I have own sportbike. Now I can say - Road Redemption looks like great drive-action-fun game but not a simulator! And it's a gread deal! 'Cos simulator will be boring shit. Good job guys) This game would be one of three games I've bought in my entire life :D

So happy to see this. I'm ashamed to say that I'd forgotten about Road Rash - but it was easily one of my absolute favorite games, ever, and continues to be. As someone else mentioned below, it'd be great if they stuck to the basic Road Rash formula - thereby avoiding goofy stuff like power-ups that you run over on the road and pick up, etc. I loved Road Rash because it was so straightforward and brutal. Obviously the nature of the game isn't going to be completely realistic - just one of the crashes endured by players throughout a given game would be instantly fatal in the real world - but keeping it somewhat grounded, without becoming like a Mario Kart on bikes, will ensure it's something I will consider buying.

Will somebody please instruct these devs on just what the fuck counter steering is and how it relates to motorcycles!? That's why the movement of the bikes look weird. At anything over 10 mph you don't turn the front wheel the direction you want to go. If you do that you'll go the opposite direction of which way you want to go. You lean the direction you want to go. That way you don't run off the road. Anyway, Not turning the front wheels at all would be better than what they do now. As a rider it's very distracting to watch. For me it's actually game breaking.
