Wal-Mart got a Xmas restock in, so I just ordered mine. One other reviewer suggested adding a black wash on him. I may try that. Still, for me, the scale to the McFarlane's are the selling points. Hopefully Todd will use this scale for the rumoured comic Darkseid figure coming out this year.

i do hope hope so as well. I don't want a short darkseid. Same here, i enjoy the scaling on this figures. the ones that disappointed me were the BTAS.

If he was a little taller and he had knee and elbow articulation I’d buy him for that price alone

yeah, the figure is not the greatest in terms of articulation. at least he looks good

The Darkseid figure wouldn't really be worth the average cost of other figures in this particular Spin Masters lineup due to the lack of elbow and knee articulation. I'm really surprised they phoned in the mobility on this figure compared to other heroes and villains in their array.

Was not aware of the other figures having a bit more articulation. Then again, I don't collect spin masters haha This figure is more of a display piece type, if that makes any sense

Just found this set at a decked out large Walmart where they secretly put all the little kid boy and girl toys. Cost me $30 didn't know what you were going to say. It's going to go perfect with my 4-in version of Darkseid giving him a growing factor.

there's a 4 inch version? nice, i'm assuming they are starting to come out little by little. So others can buy them

@@MandoAllDay Yes sir came out in a Europe and Mexico exclusive two pack with Superman and Darkseid when these figures first were released two and a half or three years ago. Had to order him The Superman came with a nice classic slight metallic paint job similar to the new black Green lantern Jon Stewart paint work.
