This is a pointless debate even to True Darkseid Doctor Manhattan is much more than a god. Dr. Manhattan controls the sub particles in which the particles that dark side controls dr. Manhattan is so much on another level it is completely insane now I'm not trying to be biased or anything I think dark side is actually really cool and a really strong guy especially true Darkseid but you can't defeat something that doesn't actually exist which would be dr. Dr Manhattan also lives beyond the 3rd dimension. His bodies are also his “avatars” that’s why he can create multiple bodies and that’s why when someone destroys his body he can bring it back. He exists as a higher consciousness throughout infinite timelines and can go in and out of universes too. So I don’t think darks sid could trap him in another universe. But dr Manhattan could create an entity that represents his body and enter those universes. Also, doctor Manhattan can create and destroy universes and timelines too. Like hes OP asf. Having said that im not sure but I heard darkseid is a 4th dimensional being. So, I think he stands enough power to be a challenge or entertain dr Manhattan. But Manhattan is too powerfull tbh. He is Omnipresent lives is past, present and future time is meaningless for him, he can be anywhere he wants to be. He have abilties to be in every corner of DC verse even probably in god sphere, limbo, multiverse, endless realms and maybe! in Overvoid cause he dont have body, he is power, when Jon Osterman was accidently killed his body not just vanish... I don't think you understand Dr.Manhattan. you can't put him in a time loop, he lives outside time as time has no meaning for him. He moves all ways, and in all dimensions. Also, speed has no meaning for him as to him even the fastest occurance will seem like a decade. So no move would be fast for him, it would seem like a century. It's luckily something he can control. I'm also pretty sure he would create a micro cosmos where time had no meaning and put Darkseid in there and have him look for an exit , and a walk on the beach that seems like a 5 min walk took 100 million years on earth. He might even be able to turn Darkseid into a shrubbery or eggplant. But I know he wouldn't have a problem with Darkseid simply because of powers that are beyond anything comprehendable.
