Great animation and awesome storytelling! However, in a crossover comic, Galactus and Darkseid did fight each other. During the battle, a starved Galactus proved to be levels above an avatar of Darkseid. Heck, even the latter's Omega Beams had zero effect on him. However, when the World Devourer attempted to devour Apokolpis, he couldn't. An injured Darkseid came and explained that Galactus devours life energy, while Apokopis isn't technically alive. When Galactus asked him why he didn't tell him from the beginning and instead fought him, sacrificing many of his people, Darkseid explained that just like Galactus exists to devour worlds, he exits to bring destruction, pain, and suffering. He then tells Galactus that he has no business here and orders him and the Silver Surfer to leave his planet. I hope you find my comment helpful.

The universe is huge, so it would be fairly easy to stay off Darkseid's radar until he could power up. And he would probably learn of Darkseid very quickly. He's very intelligent. I think it would boil down to Darkseid being the major evil power in the DC universe, but he never tried to kill off half the universe. This makes him unworthy and in need of a violent overthrow.

There was an official crossover comic that had Galalctus seeking to consume Apokolis. Darksied and his forces put up a mighty resistance, but ultimately Galactus prevailed. When proceeding to consume the planet, he found there was NOTHING to consume. Confused Galactus questioned Darkseid, "Why do you fight for such a worthless planet?" Darkseid's response, "Because this is my planet." Darkseid however pointed Galactus to DC's Earth.

Marvel and DC already did a Darkseid/Galactus crossover written and drawn by John Byrne in the late 90s. That story played out much more logically than this piece of fan fiction. As powerful as he is the truth is Darkseid is no where nearly on the same level as Galactus. Byrne had to substantially weaken Galactus by making him starved of energy just so the fight wouldn't be so one-sided and even then, Galactus didn't even flinch when Darkseid hit him with his Omega Beams. For anyone interested in seeing how a confrontation like this would REALLY play out, go read "Darkseid vs Galactus: The Hunger", it's worth the read.

Darkseid is larger than a universe. He recently fought the empty hand when the empty hand was channeling the great darkness. Empty hand makes galactus look like absolutely nothing. Darkseid beat an Alan Scott who had the powerful of all the avatars and the power from all the green in the multiverse. He also beat Tartarus who basically was wielding a weapon rivaling the infinity gauntlet. Darkseids avatars take on the justice league and all they can do it send him back. Darkseid is crazy powerful. Has feats way above surfer and in cases way above galactus. Galactus recently got killed by Thor like he was nothing when he was supposed to be at his most powerful. Darkseid also killed zues as a teen. Destroyed pantheons of gods. Beat eclipso very easily. So yes Darkseid is astronomically powerful.

Hey dude! Thank you for the comment. I know this would’ve started a controversy. But I had to make sure Darkseid was able to be a match up against GALACTUS. I initially wanted the two to fight but that would’ve made the project longer to create then necessary. The best mindset to go about this is it being a multiverse variant of billions or an infinite timeline of so many scenarios of these characters facing off and this being just one iteration of a million different outcomes! I appreciate your opinion and it was hard to put do it this way since I love silver surfer myself but it’s to drive the story! Thank you again for your feedback man!!

Great job, I really liked the battle between Darkseid & Galactus. My only small criticism is that I doubt Silver Surfer would still have a spine, so any effort by a villain against him trying that, would be/should be entirely futile. @@FatalFist I mean Darkseid didn't win shit every one on the planet was dead and he himself barely lived Galactus's attack, if Darkseid hadn't told Galactus the world was man made Galactus would of killed him and destroyed apokolips, the only reason he went to apokolips was because he came to feed on new genesis but when he got there new genesis was made to look like a star and Galactus only saw apokolips mistaking it for the planet he came to feed on but once learning apokolips was man made and would do nothing for him he left not bothering to feed on/destroy the planet because there was no point in doing so with Darkseid only being spared because Galactus saw him as little more then a ant and didn't see the need to kill him.

You this actually happened in a crossover comic once. It was a sort of "What If" where Silver Surfer fought Orion when Galactus sought to devour Apokalypse. Darkseid decided to let Galactus feed on his planet and Galactus learned that there was no life energy to harvest. Since Apokalypse was originally one planet that split in two, and is constant producing firepits, there no life energy left on that planet. Basically, Darkseid tricked Galactus.

Darkseid is crazy powerful. Has feats way above surfer and in cases way above galactus. Galactus recently got killed by Thor like he was nothing when he was supposed to be at his most powerful. Darkseid also killed zues as a teen. Destroyed pantheons of gods. Beat eclipso very easily. So yes Darkseid is astronomically powerful.

Good fight scene, clever depiction of both characters Darkseid vs Galactus. Darkseid is a God with immense powers (Omega), lived for millions of years, has planet destruction powers, but Galactus is level ahead of him. Galactus was born before Universe & has galaxy wiping powers (cosmic). Plus, Darkseid can't get so big in size, require mental physical casting. Galactus original size is that huge.

Man thats a huge compliment! I do think the DCEU was just rushing to catch up with Marvel Studios, I do give them credit though. They had some real potential making it epic. I loved Man of Steel that was a great movie, they slipped bad on Batman vs Superman, I still like the movie: But Justice League was so bad, but then it helped seeing Snyder cut which was a huge redemption, but yeah they jumped the gun too fast! Darkseid is like a ant to Galactus but Darkseid vs Silver surfer isn't as one sided, in a fist fight they should be more or less on par with one another but when it comes to there beams such as the omega beams i think Darkseid can one shot kill surfer if he can actually hit him where Surfer on the other hand wouldn't be able to kill Darkseid but would be able to knock him out if he puts enough force into his blast it also depends on how much power Darkseid puts into his omega beams unlike with Galactus who took a full power omega beam like it was nothing Surfer wouldn't be able to take a hit from the omega beams with less power behind them, i would say a 30% power or so omega beam should be able to take Surfer out, Surfer would likely need to use his full power to knock Darkseid out tho. In a fight were Surfer wins he would have to use his speed and full power and knock Darkseid out before he is able to react but if Darkseid gets a omega beam off before Surfer can knock him out then Surfer is as good as dead tho whether or not he actually gets hit comes down to if he actually tries to run away such as flying off world or if he's still trying to fight, if hes running then he has the speeed to get away but if he's trying to fight he'll being flying at a much slower speed and would likely get hit

His “true power” is a useless fantasy, as far it matters in a fight. He can only operate through a limited avatar, and one that’s been smacked around by Superman, too. It just means he’d survive being destroyed since it’s just an avatar. His true form is more of a matter of durability and reincarnation or reconstitution, since you’re always only dealing with an avatar.
