Such awesome story arch, incredible voice acting. I love this game. But I'm confused about the timeline for darksiders 1, 2 and 3. Was the last seal broken at the point?

Darksiders 2 and 3 takes place DURING Darksiders 1 So in other words, all of the games are happening all at once in the same timeline

Goes like this. First mission of Darksiders 1 -> Darksiders 3 -> Darksiders 2 -> the rest of Darksiders 1. War stands chained for full century.
