Easy! Drop your pushblock attempts by accidentally activating Dark Force, not once, but TWICE in the same match. Lilly's Dark Force activations, even though it was accidental, render her Luminous Illusion to be nearly useless, as it's bugged and causes the Luminous Illusion to practically do no damage. Her Illusion is her main source of giant damage during her rushdown. He had opportunities to cancel into the Illusion a few times but didn't bother since it'd do almost no damage. Yeah... that's a quick way to kill your best offensive options, and Victor can just out damage you without the Illusion threat from chain combos.

@@stalkerstomper3304, I never played Vampire Savior, just Darkstalkers and Night Warriors. Is there some change in the combo system? If I'm not mistaken, only Morrigan could start chain combos after her dashing (tapp twice the D-pad forward), while all the others just delivered one hit in each dash. Here I see both Jon and Sasquatch doing huge combos after dashing.

@@josie1776 Yes. There's some major differences in the air combo system between the original VSav and the other Darkstalkers games. In VSav, every character can perform air chain combos within a normal jump. The air dash combos are different though, as they aren't chain combos, but linked attacks. The dash link combos are very limited as far as how many hits you can perform, as well as the difficulty in timing the attacks so that they link together as a combo. Chain combos can normally be done in the air as jump-in combos and as ground combos too. The best part is how much easier the chain combos are to perform in VSav, compared to the somewhat clunky timing of chain combos of the other Darkstalkers games. VSav definitely has the most advanced fighting game mechanics compared to the other Darkstalkers games, so you're rewarded for good execution. Lastly, the hit boxes and hurt boxes are just more consistent in VSav as well. So in a nutshell, VSav plays smoother, faster, and with more offensive options than the Darkstalkers games, and this is what makes it the most respected and competitive game within the series. Try it out and refer to my guides or just ask me questions if need be. It's a much superior game out of all of the Darkstalkers games. Good luck! 👍

@@stalkerstomper3304 , by the way... watching people playing, I had the impression Demitri continues without dashing attacks. He only can perform his "shoryuken" while he slides. Or finally he can do normal attacks? If yes, it's a big weakness when compared to the rest of the game's cast.
