This is one of the few character themes I feel DIDN’T improve going from Darkstalkers to Night Warriors. There’s just something about the guitar riffs that hit better here than on the sequel. Perhaps the only track I find more metal than this is Raptor/Zabel’s win screen track from Vampire Savior. Fantastic cover! I love this!

I think the lack of the cool bassline and haunting flute that accopanies the guitar riff is why his Night Warriors theme comes off as a downgrade

At first the Extended drums had Me baffled.😮 and then all was good..the classic theme,Up until “1:03” and then it’s a prime example of less is more/don’t fix what isn’t broken.
