This entire boss fight is sheer perfection from top to bottom. The music, the way it cuts out just one part when you beat one of the members, the differing attacks from each of them that make you choose which one you want to take out first, while none of them are too overwhelming in their own right. Darren Korb has gotta be the best VG Soundtrack composer in the market right now. The attention to details of this whole soundtrack (that isn't even complete yet) as well as the overall tonal shifts and ever changing time signatures propel him so far above the competition.

A brilliant boss fight on so many levels. The music, the personality of Scylla, the combat itself, the "featured performer" in the 2nd phase, the way killing a performer takes their instrument out of the song, it's just all so perfect.

@@auraweiss638not the same VA, but the voice is very similar in tone and cadence- very light like a Disney Princess but also made in a way that’s mostly in the top of the throat so it gives a dreamy/childlike quality.

When I first met Scylla and the Sirens I became so obsessed with this song that every time I had to do homework, go to school or even sleep I COULD NOT stop humming Coral Crown. I literally went mad with this song just like any sailor who encountered these sirens in the sea.

In Hades I one of the tricks I picked up to play better was taking my headphones off so the music wouldn’t get me worked up and I’d be less likely to make a mistake. I’m never doing that with Hades II.

I don't know how many other people have noticed just how technical this boss fight is with its diegetic music. For instance, everyone pretty much knows that when one of the sirens is knocked out of commission or killed, their instrument is no longer being used in the music. However, if you just so happen to kill or muffle Scylla before the others, her main vocals no longer take center stage and her backup songstresses take over, making them more pronounced. I think this also happens when the backup sirens also have a chance to become the featured artist during the second phase. I might be wrong, but I recall picking up on Ashley Barrett's vocals in a few of my matches, whilst in other ones, it was pure Erin.

I still remember the first time i faced her. I loved it so much. And then i realized she was a siren.. and i wasnt fighting to win that first time.. i was fighting to stay alive long enough to hear more of the song.. and then it came full circle and i realized the genius of it all. 10/10 supergiant you all always kick ass.

SuperGiant doesn't miss. I freaking loved experiencing this boss for the first time. Even when you die to the Sirens, the theme changes to a rock theme instead of the usual one. I just reached this bossfight after my 3rd trip to oceanus and upon hearing singing in a water based level, i already knew it was the Sirens. My jaw dropped when i heard a vocal song for the battle theme and IT CHANGED BASED ON WHO I TOOK OUT

Throughout the first Oceanus attempts I could guess the boss was going to be siren themed...but the face I made and the laugh I loughed when I got there. Priceless.
