Your English and tone is very pleasant. It's easy to join and get wiser. This has convinced me about the power of Darktable, it's really a laboratory for raw editing - not just an editor.

A big thumbs up for the return of voice commentary! 👍 Your processing has always been great and I especially appreciate your quick adoption and obvious understanding of new modules and scene referred workflow,, but in that period of silent videos it was hard to follow and understand the reasons behind e.g. choosing a certain module/blend mode combination over some potential other one in the given situation.

Thanks a lot for this video Boris. Your spoken explanation is really helpful, much easier to follow your train of thought than the subtitles you have used on your other videos. Keep 'em coming :)

This was really good to understand the cumulative effects of Darktable development, i.e. not pushing too hard with one module but establishing a base to refine with further modules. This is the bit that I struggle with.

@Shane This is a very good and important observation! Many fail because they expect to get quick results with a few sliders. This testifies to the fact that they have not yet learned to deal with the *composition of the image*. And this composition is actually the guiding principle for editing. Every time someone complains about the complexity of the darktable, it shows that they don't yet know what elements of composition (and how to combine them) constitute a good photo. Once you learn that, you appreciate the wide range of functionality that darktable offers to handle these elements to achieve good composition.

I recently watched the newer modules posting be Aurelian and Bruce and your name was mentioned. Glad this one came up on the feed and I can say that this video was an eye-opener and adds so more to the recent to the recently watched ColorBalanceRgb/ColorCalibration videos! Thank you for taking the time to make your videos and the narrative is great!

Sorry for the spelling, but I don't know English. I use a translator:) I want to write that you have fantastic tutorials and I greatly admire your skills in using Darktable. I have a question. If I use a tone corrector for contrast, how should I sharpen the photo? What module should I use?

I'm sorry Uzi don't offer my raw files from videos because, among other things, I don't think there's much to be gained by simply mimicking the process. Much better to take your own samples to practice the technique. If you need raw files and want to practice, you have at discuss.pixls.us/c/processing/playraw/30 some nice raw files available. There you can practice nicely and also present your own processing to the others.
