Was testing it the other day. Psykers definitely need and should be able to quell with non-force weaponry. Or at least give them a buff for defense. TLDR of this build- insane glass cannon. I would definitely want to replace some of the offense to either utility or defense.

I personally don’t mind glass cannon for Psyker. As a class they have the best toughness replenishment talents in the game. If you take out the damage I took from exploding cuz I’m stupid then I actually took maybe 200 or so real damage (exploded twice if I remember correctly). That said I do agree in general that some support is still good for team contribution. In this case however, there’s just so much of a relative damage gain that I would let it slide. Outside of the Scrier’s penance to kill 40 mobs in one activation, the buffed CD makes it more of pop and forget move everytime it comes up *especially* since it’s free toughness from peril gain.

@@Vamp0613 I agree. Survivability here is more from dodge, since outside scryer gaze there is very little to none toughness dmg reduction. It's fun because you have to be on your toes constantly, but that can be tiresome to maintain in Auric. One last question please, would you replace MKX laspistol with stub revolver or its lighter version (much faster fire rate, therefore theoretically quicker burn stack build through crits)? For the most part, I use it on heavy enemies and sadly for those even MKX heavy laspistol does not give strong enough kick.

@@Dzugoslav stub revolver is a slight playstyle change. You’d need to lean slightly more on assail and your melee weapon for most targets to make up for only having 5 shots (with very nasty damage). I find the MkX laspistol just overall comfier to use from personal preference for hipfire accuracy mostly. You could technically brute force the crit for burns better from its lighter cousin but I just like its higher damage per shot especially once peril reaches 100 in Scrier’s for finesse damage on monsters

Am I crazy for thinking the Disrupt Destiny and sub-talent changes are a huge nerf?

I hate to say it but yes you are unfortunately crazy. Disrupt Destiny is easier to maintain a good average amount of stacks across the course of a round compared to losing it all at once if you let it fade like before. Mathematically, you only need around 6-7 DD stacks for it to outpace 6 warp charges as a damage booster and they do not fade upon ability use. Any stacks past that is a gigantic buff to your base damage.

Cooldown: from 30s to 25s. "Fixed issue where the ability cooldown of “Scrier’s Gaze” could not be reduced while the ability was active." Basically if you take long enough to hit 100% during Scrier's it'll be back up again, just vent to 0% and go again.

@@Vamp0613 yeah bro I just used it and jeeeeeeesus Christ lol. I just ran it with a columnus but I might switch that out for something else it isn’t feeling as strong for some reason.
