This game really needed another six months in the oven. I've never been so torn between a really fun core gameplay, and every single other facet of the game without exception being brain aneurysm-inducingly infuriating.

@@cheapwine3365 I have 81 hours in Darktide, over half a year and I hold the same opinion that Darktide could have done with a year more in development. The only part of the game where I haven't heard about a single bug or issue is the damn ingame cash shop. But even if you ignore all the bugs which is apparently becoming standard for new games, there still isn't a lot of content. They have 4 classes, that's it. There's a pretty large selection of weapons, but if you've leveled just one class then the weapons on the next class don't really feel all that different. The Psyker basically only got one new staff, the rest are just reskinned from VT2. Which is kind of a big issue when that's where most of their fanbase is from. Darktide isn't a BAD game, it's just lackluster compared to what people expected from the developers of VT2. Personally I feel like Darktide became such a mess because Tencent basically bought Fatshark, so like any other Chinese company the focus is on lootboxes and releasing overpriced DLCs while rushing development.

Yeah Fatshark dropped the ball with the initial release hard. They never learn. But I still love this game so much and can't wait for each patch to solve the common pain points.

I once was playing as my zealot with a thunderhammer and charged after a mutie and I sent his body to the heavens cuz after I killed him his body sky rocketed upwards. The rag dolls in this game never cease to amaze me 😂

A lot of these showcased “bugs” is actually your internet connection dropping or ping spikes. Neither of which are the game’s fault. I know this because these same instances happen to me. It’s my internet service providers fault.
